2024 Baltimore Orioles

Losing Bradish hurts, but I think we still have a good chance to pull it off this year
I like the chances of the Orioles and Ravens both taking home championships this year. Would be really cool for the city if that were to somehow happen.

As powerful as our offense is, it’s pitching that wins pennants and championships. While we still have some great arms, considering the season ending injuries to some of the best, it seems we’ll need to be major players at the trade deadline.

Crazy all you hear today is whining about how the Yanks played half the series without Judge. Hello? The O's went into the Bronx with their 7th , 8th and 9th starters against Mr. Yankee Stadium Cortes, Cole and the ERA leader Gil. Outscored them 26-15.

Don't believe me? this is the O's rotation depth for 2024.

1. Burnes didn't pitch
2. Bradish lost for season
3. Grayson didnt pitch
4. Means out for season
5. Kreamer injured
6. Wells out for season
7. irvin
8. Suarez
9. Povich

10. Seth Johnson

The Judge thing makes zero sense. He played last night, didn't help, and we abused their best starter.

F*** the stanks.

Tonight really showed how quickly this young team has grown, down to the point where it seems like the game is over. Then the O's battled back but it was too late. Good outing here but pitching again let them down, feel like we will take 2/3 from them but damn loved the fight this team showed to almost make the comeback.

Don’t recall the last time we lost 2 in a row. Gotta right the ship today as it doesn’t get any easier with Cleveland coming to town tomorrow.

I'm glad the Yankees decided to start sucking at the same time we did. Still only 2 games behind them with the end of June approaching. Got to right the ship after the All-Star break and make some moves at the deadline.

Payback against the defending Champs for what they did in the playoffs. We have to win the series against the Rangers this weekend to get back on track.

FIRST PLACE..... yes I know it's only the end of June and MLB is saying it's a "tie" but still good to go into July and the All Star Break rebuilding momentum from that little slump.

Good grief the parade of young bats just keeps marching up the pipeline. I hope we get a look at Seth Johnson here before the all star break. Time to get some of these swing arms back to a bullpen that needs them.

Can we clone Grayson, please? What a great game he pitched last night. That's the way to start a road trip!

Big start for Kremer tonight.

Yeah, this is really the beginning of a bit of a crucible because of travel - the opponents maybe not so much, but we have played down to our competition. Taking 2/3 from the all of these teams until the All-Star break would be quite an accomplishment. Especially the Skanks at the end, right before the break.

The final time the Orioles will play in Oakland this weekend as they begin the series against the Athletics tonight. Guessing we won't play them as the road team until after they move to Vegas in a few years.

The Oakland A's have always been my second favorite team. I started following them in the 1970's when they were the Mustache Gang. I hated that they bet the Orioles in 2 or 3 ALCS's but I just loved the attitude and the colors were outrageous. I hope they keep everything the same when they move. It will be cool to see them finally getting some love... other than the 3-4 thousand diehards that show up at that shitty park.

Today, 7/6... Woof. We're not looking good. Povich stunk up the place.

Yeah. Still in first place though, but lots to work on at the deadline.
