Next Up: Wild-Card Bye

Not sure they're going to have 4 RBs (five if you count Ricard) active on gameday. That doesn't make a lot of sense from a roster construction standpoint.
So either Cook or Gordon will be inactive.
Gordon is almost surely inactive and probably the first guy off of the 53 man roster when the need arises.

They need to cut his ass already so Dalvin can rock his old #33 again, Whats the dang holdup!?

My pics for the weekend after some more deliberation.

Browns over Texans
Chiefs over Dolphins
Bills over Steelers
Cowboys over Packers
Rams over Lions
Eagles over Buccaneers
Don’t like the Lions at home?

I agree with @UPennChem's picks.

Rams are the hot team. I trust Stafford more than Goff. I think he's going to fold under the pressure.

My heart tells me to pick Baker & and Bucs over the Eagles. I secretly root for Baker's success after what Cleveland did to him. But my brain tells me Eagles roster is too talented for them to lose wildcard weekend. They'll get bounced next week.

Flacco leads the Browns to the next round. This playoff race is all about the storylines. NFL mocked us with the "is the NFL scripted?" joke all off-season. We all know this shit scripted... Stafford vs Lions 1st round, Flacco vs Ravens 2nd round, Mahomes vs Lamar for the title of QB1 in the conference championship.

I’m hoping this is the year the Lions make a run. Folks in Detroit have suffered long enough. Sucks they are going to lose in the SB to us, but hey atleast they made it

The Bucs really haven’t beat anyone, although they should have beat SF. That was Bakers version of our game vs Pitt , just dropped passes everywhere. I still don’t trust them to show up Monday night …. Buuuuut Hurts can barely throw with the injury, they are starting their fourth safety, and AJ Brown hurt his knee/deleted all his eagles shit on Twitter … feel like the Eagles are circling the drain.

Your probably right about us losing. I dont see us winning in Dallas unfortunately. I can see the Lions winning actually.

My picks:
Texans over Browns (This one was tough)
Dolphins over Chiefs

Rams over Lions
Eagles over Buccaneers

I will be rooting for you guys, just that if I had to place a bet, Dallas is an uphill battle. My stepson will be going crazy if his Packers win.

For the Cowboys vs Packers game, I just expect it to get crazy. Rodgers terrorized the Cowboys in the playoffs, and it's been pointed out that Love has nearly identical stats to Rodgers in his first 17 games as a starter. It feels like we're going to get history to repeat itself with Love balling put and stepping up big time in the fourth to pull out a win.

Also, Mike McCarthy has always had a horrible habit of getting overly conservative and playing not to lose in the post season. Wouldn't be the first time a team has pulled the upset on him because he fails to finish them off.

We using this as the official gameday thread to discuss the games I assume?

Anyhow my official picks...

Texans over Browns: I like the idea of playing Joe too but I'm sticking to the fact Cleveland beat a Texans team without Stroud and Will Anderson. Both players will make a major difference on each side of the ball and Houston comes to Baltimore in the Divisional Round.

Chiefs over Dolphins: The weather will neutralize things for Miami and help keep the game close. If Miami gets both Waddle and Mostert back, they will have a shot at winning. Do I think they win? No. Chiefs advance to the divisional round and Tua exits the playoffs with likely a big contract waiting for him in the offseason.

Bills over Steelers: The one thing about backup quarterbacks playing well, eventually they come crashing back down to earth. We seen it with Dobbs and Jake Browning and this is where it ends for Mason Rudolph. Chiefs head to Buffalo in the Divisional Round.

Cowboys over Packers: Just like the Orioles, the Packers are too young and inexperienced for the playoffs and the Cowboys home record improves as Mike McCarthy beats his old team.

Rams over Lions: I debated on the Lions here but again I'll go with the experience over the unexperienced and Rams win. Rams head to SF in the divisional round.

Bucs over Eagles: Ever since Matt Patricia took over the Eagles defense, things have not gone well for Philadelphia's defense. The Eagles are reeling, and the Bucs are going to take advantage as Baker Mayfield once again wins on the road in the playoffs and Tampa heads to Dallas.

I want the Steelers to lose. Heck, I want them to get crushed.

But if it's a weather game. It gives them a chance. Then you're a Allen hero-ball mistake away from an upset.

I think Buffalo wins but this is why I'm not counting out the Steelers to pull off the upset. Somehow, some damn way Mike Tomlin and company find a way to be there in the end with some foolery or nonsense that keeps them in the game. If the Steelers did win, that would be an incredible what a way for Lamar to get his first win over the Steelers, in the playoffs and knocking them out after we let them in.

Game day thread is here:

if they're not gonna use him in a dead rubber game at the end of the season then they're not gonna use him in the playoffs
not sure why he's still on the roster regardless
