"From What I've been reading -- Patriots feel like they have good scouts, and it was BB overruling them for dumb reasons...apparently in 2019 AJ Brown and Deebo were the top targets, they visited together and BB thought they were having too much fun, and not taking Patriots seriously so he switched to N'Keal Henry and over rode his scouts.

The Patriots comments have been kinda amusing. "I can't believe they took the former all pro Patriots linebacker turned position coach over the former all pro Patriots linebacker turned position coach."

It's true Vrabel had some coordinator experience before being a head coach but it was only one year of being a play caller first. Not that big of a difference.
 
I thought for sure Vrabel was destined for New England. That's one vacancy already filled. Missed opportunity for Mayo to go to Tennessee to work with the Mayo man himself... Will Levis. Guess Pats can trade for him lol.

This makes the most sense. Back to the left coast for Jimbo if he wants to return to the NFL.

Yep. LA. Big market opportunity. Not too dissimilar of a situation from what he had in SF. It makes all of the sense in the world.

Seems Vegas is gonna try hard for him too though and they can probably sway with money.

Falcons finished interviewing Macdonald, Chargers finished interviewing Monkens. Hopefully Atlanta being interested in Belichick is true, while I'd hate to see Jim go to the AFC, at least it would mean one less spot for Macdonald.
 
I could see Monken in Carolina.

Unfortunately, it's not a great situation. I don't think the Panthers will get any of the big or trendy names at this point.

hewitt was getting interviews last year
wilson should have been the eagles DC instead of sean desai

doubt these guys are just token candidates
