I think this is the one coaching change that could happen at the drop of a hat. If Jerry sees what he thinks is an opportunity, you know he's gonna take it and cast McCarthy aside. I think he's destined to pack his bags. It's just a matter of time.

Nah. Had they missed the playoffs, it was definitely possible. I remember seeing a fucked meme saying that once it was revealed that he supported Al-Qaeda, they won out.

I think getting to the playoffs or atleast winning one game saved his job, especially with the injuries they had along the defense.

There’s a lot of negative about him atm. Not from coaching but how he ran the team. Not saying he is gone but his seat is definitely hot

my friend who is a Bills fan would like to see him fired. He thinks they lost the game due to coaching.

Now I don't see McDermott as a bad coach, but I do believe they have reached a ceiling with him at the helm.

So they stayed inhouse for the GM candidate. Guess no outsider wants to deal with Tepper, so someone who is used to Tepper gets the job. Panthers fans also say he has ties to Dan Quinn and Bucs OC Dave Canales. Canales was brought back for a second interview while Quinn was not. So Canales might be leaving Tampa for Carolina.
