End of the Bar Does Not Care, John Harbaugh

When I saw the news about Michigan, I was thinking that Michigan might jump on Harbaugh if we were to fire him. Though, I doubt Harbaugh wouldn't have a ton of pursuers in the NFL level. I think John would stay in the NFL level as I don't think he had the desire Jim had to coach at Michigan but we'll see.

John harbaugh could be an all time college head coach. The ultimate program CEO/culture guy, ideal guy to recruit and run the show to get college guys to perform.

He ain’t got the X’s and O’s to do it at this level.

The real coaches of his SB winning season was Ray, Ed, and Joe
Who the hell would we pick up though? We have a team thats dam near ready now to win! Idk if a young up and coming coach ready for that! Doubt we get blessed and end up with a sean mccvay type. Actually if we were to get rid john, im betting we get klint kubiak.. yea its gonna be klint.. this gonna be a fun offseason seeing everyone go crazy when josh mcdaniels and bill gets linked to us lol..

False. Look at all the post season success we've had since those guys retired...

I was about to be real petty

Kyle Shanahan when 49ers fire him.

I know some here are all in on offensive minds, but Chris Shula (Rams DC), Jeff Haley (Packers DC), Robert Saleh (49ers DC), and Jesse Minter (Chargers DC) would all be potentially great hires. They'd bring back the physical, bully nature of the Ravens, and will put an emphasis on the trenches.

it dnt matter if its dc or oc for me but in our situation we maybe be better off with a great offensive mind if we can.. we been blaming our oc for the past two years then blamed greg roman so we maybe better of with a shannhan type if its possible.

Can we hire that one guy? Mike Macdonald? I hear he's really good.

Idc off or def as long as they bring a scheme with them. And people ask who will we replace him with... who was Harbaugh before he got to us?

It would be a highly sought after job with folks lining up to coach Lamar and this roster. Really hoping the 49ers and Shanahan part ways. He should’ve been out OC years ago but Harbaugh probably felt threatened.

Picking Harbaugh was so extremely odd

Football gods wouldnt give us shannhan. He basically a guaranteed SB appearance

Why would the 9ers get rid of Shanahan tho? That makes no sense for them imo. They’re 10-4 with multiple stars missing.

Looking around the league, we got two head Coach vacancies already in the Titans & Giants. We could have at least 6 more bringing a total of 8 Head Coach openings and that's without counting for Harbaugh. Moving on from Harbaugh in a year where there could be plenty of vacancies may not be the best idea but a young offensive minded Head Coach would jump at the chance to work with Lamar & Derrick in Baltimore. I think we are looking at a situation where if we go deep in the playoffs that is very much wide open. They say just to get to the dance, well 2025 is the pure definition of that. I think Harbaugh is staying if we win the division and make a potential deep run but look at changes at Coordinator, whether that's Todd Monken or Zach Orr.

Titans - The Titans have a new GM in place who came from Kansas City, so look there in terms of them getting someone offensive minded who could develop Cam Ward.

Giants - Jaxson Dart has shown flashes here and there this season, if Cam Skattebo returns healthy, they might be able to make noise next season with the right coach.

Buccaneers - Say what you will, but Todd Bowles has overachieved in Tampa with that roster and if they lose the division to Carolina, it might be time to move on. We know Baker and the offense is fine as they have produced Head Coaches the past couple years in Dave Canales and Liam Cohen. A defensive minded guy might be what Tampa looks for here.

Falcons - Raheem Morris might not be the only fired this off-season in Atlanta as their GM could be on the hot seat as well. Given their QB situation with the money given to Kirk Cousins to simply ride the bench until Michael Penix got hurt, and of course the question of whether Penix is the guy or not.

Browns - Might look to start over all together with a complete house cleaning. Fire Kevin Stefanski and fire GM Andrew Berry who gave Watson that ridiculous contract and wipe their hands clean of Watson next year.

Bengals - Ownership might have to make a choice in the off-season, Joe Burrow or Zac Taylor. If Burrow is unhappy, Zac Taylor may be gone as they look to keep their QB happy.

Cardinals - Jonathan Gannon in Arizona is an interesting one, do they want to give him another year with a potential rookie QB or just start over after trading Kyler Murray? If Gannon was available, I'd love him for a Defensive Coordinator option for us, he seems to be one of those who are a good coordinator but not Head Coach.

Raiders- Already fired Chip Kelly, and it seems the Pete Carroll experiment didn't work out. With the Raiders likely to draft a new QB, getting a young offensive minded Head Coach to work with who they draft seems like the best fit.

Pretty good list.
Titans and Giants with openings.

Others I'd expect to be open:
1. Jets - think there's no shot they keep Glenn for another year.
2. Bengals
3. Browns
4. Raiders - think Carroll lasts only a year also.
5. Falcons

Possible firings, depending on how team finishes:
1. Dolphins - pending how they finish
2. Ravens - if they miss playoffs
3. Steelers - if they miss playoffs
4. Bills - if they were to lost in first round, not sure how McDermott keeps his job
5. Cowboys
6. Cardinals
7. Bucs - if they miss playoffs

Jon Gruden would fit the type of coach who wouldn't be looking for a team rebuilding in what would be his final shot at being a NFL Head Coach. He would need a team who is ready to win now, which would be us. Gruden also could look at Cincinnati with Joe Burrow where they just need to fix the defense and get Burrow a OL. Hell even Gruden going back to the Bucs after all these years to coach Baker is a possibility.

On Bengals I’m not sure it’s Zac who is in trouble. It could be the GM. I feel as if Burrow is likely more pissed at their GM than Zac but not sure obviously

I would be surprised if TB dumps Bowles
