End of the Bar Does Not Care, John Harbaugh

So the question is, if Harbaugh did stay, are you keeping both coordinators? If not, does it make sense to keep Harbaugh?

I agree, it seems all but certain he is done here for so many reasons. I’ll never say never though because I’ve been burned before on absolutes but I can’t see how he stays.
I think Orr would stay in this scenario. Monken would definitely be gone.

But I just can’t see them letting Harbaugh pick yet another OC. He’s burned through them dudes so quick.

I could see Orr but his unit hasn’t really solidified on the second half of the year like it did last year. This year it has continued to look Jekyll and Hyde game to game and sometimes quarter to quarter

I’m personally looking at Klint Kubiak to replace Harbaugh.

No inside info, but I don’t see a way Harbaugh is back next year unless this team makes the playoffs and goes on a magical run. Just seems like the time is here.

The window to fire Harbaugh was after the 2018 season, but Lamar saved him. There has been so real reason to move on since then, so I wouldn’t necessarily call it patience. Despite the playoff losses, no team is firing a coach after they just put up back to back historic seasons.
Especially after 2023. I know folks wanted McDonald to be the heir apparent, but there's no way Biscotti was gonna fire Harbaugh after we hosted our very first AFCCG. Now maybe if we went one-and-done again, I could see it but it's beyond a moot point.

As for this season, we're not making the playoffs. I'm not gonna be fooled into thinking the Browns are gonna beat the Steelers. Hell, I don't even think we're beating the Pack on Saturday.

And that HC in waiting stuff is bullshit. Look how that worked for New England. I really like MM and I’m glad he’s doing well in Seattle. Timing just wasn’t right here.

I agree. I mean, probably would have been best to fire him after 2017 so we had a new Head Coach to pair with a new QB of the future in Lamar at the time. Harbaugh somehow has gotten lucky where this team plays bad enough to put him on the hot seat but then seasons like 2019 and 2023 happen and it essentially saves his job.

Also think it’s sink or swim time with Lamar, and I feel the only way to get him to extend is probably going to be with a new coach with which he gets some level of input.
I think Lamar has all the leverage. Biscuit better realize that or come the end of his contract he'll be playing for another HC anyway.

Like I'm sorry guys, this is a sorry ass HC candidates pool.

You can be fed up with Harbs I don't mind, but if you think some "Jeff Hafley" or "Joe Brady" is the answer then I'm speechless.

Joe brady play calling sucks… its better candidates out there. Klint kubiak is one or even the defensive coordinators id take over brady.. im sure if we let go harbs, we likely getting kubiak i believe.

I like Saleh a ton. My only reason I'd be a little down is he has 2 Super Bowl loses to mahomes with a far better defensive pass rush. Doesn't fix a lot of our problems but he was 100% unfairly judged on the shit jets just like Rodger's.

Minter I might be okay with but want something perhaps more fresh. Would we go college route? Lanning cig and freeman is all be alright with but I don't want lag for them developing. We need someone who can beat Andy Reid.

Agreeded. I think there's no way he signs an extension if we keep harbs. He will say have fun eating my 75 mil and I'm going to rest up, which he should.
