That was a bullshit roughing a passer call
It really was. It juts goes to show you that we were fortunate that Z didn't get called last night. Those are the kind of calls that just get made sometimes in the attempt to protect QBs. A call against us there would have been a potential game changer.
 
troy aikman's done a pretty good job on TNF this year but him whining on this dallas game is making it borderline unwatchable

we were lucky it was basically a primetime game on national tv because normally the nfl emphasises good officiating crews on those games

I hate it when announcers show preference. He’s one of the better ones, but I don’t like him when he calls the cowboys games.
 
haha the announcers in the giants colts game just complimented the officials and noted that 3 had worked in the superbowl - showed a highlight of a facemask that looked pretty clearcut to indicate what the penalty probably was

and classically and perfectly for this year of officiating the resulting penalties were 2 fouls on the other team and the facemask got completely missed

that feels like a microcosm for most of the officiating in the league this year
