he hasnt had simple assignments and he's been used rotationally rather than situationally which suggests he's good enough to start for us but we just happen to have 3 starting outside corners - in fact he's been so good that we are finding ways to get him, jimmy and carr all on the field on dime snaps at this point - i dont see how he's being protected - even in the limited snaps from his first game he was covering AJ Green, he's had to go 1v1 with crabtree and did pretty well too
i think there's not a single ravens fan in the world who doesnt realise that not every first rounder is a stud because we've been burned by it maybe twice since the superbowl... but that doesnt mean that every first rounder is automatically not good enough just because for some weird reason you dont want it to work out personally...
and dude, right back at you, all im doing is counteracting your weird narrative that humphrey is bad and bound to fail - im not saying he's an all pro or probowl corner at this point, but what im saying is that he's done better than most of us expected as a rookie corner and that he's been a pleasantly brilliant surprise so im defending him from your hyper criticism that isnt borne out by anything anyone else is seeing on the field
and if im honest given the trends in this thread i think the onus should be on you using your facts to prove that humphrey hasnt been playing well given that most of the boards think he's playing well, his snap counts suggest he's playing well and the coaches have said he's playing well... and i havent been cherry picking stats - you find me a stat that says he's been playing badly and then we'll discuss the relative merits of our stats but so far you've shown me nothing in terms of stats, facts, or observable evidence (or any evidence tbh)
not sure what stanley has to do with humphrey tbh - and i dont remember a single person on the old boards hollering for buckner over stanley like at all so i dont know why this is relevant at all
