"They were looking kind of dumb with their fingers and their thumbs in the shape of an L on their foreheads"I think everyone needs to make the L's with their hands before they get so aggressive with each other
Humphrey is very close to exclusively lined up covering left boundary in college. Or at least, I haven't seen him weak side....at all that I recall.
Anyone see this as a major hurdle for him?
I really think of all the years we might start using more dime, this year would be the year - we finally have the db personnel and maybe a hole at linebacker in passing situations so it all fits perfectlyI can't wait to see how we use Jefferson. That guy's skillset is so special. Him and Bowser will give some X Factors and Wild Cards to our defense that we didn't have before, love that.
I don't think anyone likes seeing a shining rookie get injured for his entire second year. But if we were to lose a player Young was definitely one of the more disposable ones. I love his upside but that cornerback depth before his injury was so deep. And it still is, I love Smith, Carr, Humphrey, and Boykin. If we lose Jimmy Smith though this team is as good as dead.I wish tavon didnt get hurt ma

Most underrated player in football is Jimmy Smith. If he didn't go down this team was in the playoffs.
Young was the most disposable one? Are you serious?I don't think anyone likes seeing a shining rookie get injured for his entire second year. Boykin is 2 years removed from being the undisputed best slot corner in the league and only got knocked from that perch due to 2 injury plagued seasons. He hasn't even had a chance to show whether or not the injuries have hampered himBoykin is trash
Yeah I can see what you mean. I think Hewitt is fine but I hope Frazier's departure won't hurt us too much. What he did for our secondary was awesome.wish we had frazier coaching these guys. hewitt does not really seem too experienced but i will take a wait and see approach
I think you're reading way into this. He is one of the more disposable ones. Injuries are going to happen in the NFL. The ones we cannot afford to lose is Weddle, Jefferson, and Smith. I loved what Young did as a rookie but if you were to choose any position on this team for an injury like that to happen it was one that the team had depth and it happened to the #3 or #4 corner on the team. I would consider that pretty lucky. Everyone wanted to see Young play, but looking at this season, so far the team has been relatively lucky with who they have lost to injuries so far. I feel like every year there is a huge name injured and doesn't play the first few games and so far I think the team has been relatively lucky thus far.Young was the most disposable one? Are you serious?
No kidding going from last in turnovers or whatever to near first (don't have the numbers in front of me.) that is a huge turn around.Yeah I can see what you mean. I think Hewitt is fine but I hope Frazier's departure won't hurt us too much. What he did for our secondary was awesome.
That is what I was getting at. I'm glad you explained it better. This is an injury the team can overcome. Weddle, Jefferson, or Jimmy Smith go down the team will have a long season. Luckily at safety the team still has Webb who had a pretty good season at safety for some depth but either one of them go down and it may be another long season.I am not saying I agree but I get what he's saying. We couldn't afford to lose Jefferson or Weddle, cannot afford to lose our outside corners in Jimmy or Carr, for the sanity of Ravens fans alike we cannot afford to see another first round draft pick to injury, and as a bonus, Canady might be showing promise.
Again, it's a major blower that Tavon had the injury, but in perspective, we can deal with that one over many others
