Agree that Henry seems to be a better game to game player. Jernigan might be a better talent but he was a bit too feast or famine at times.

Jernigan fits what the Eagles do much better than our defense.
 
Next year I’m putting Canady and Humphrey on the outside with Tavon in the slot. Let Jimmy take his time healing at the beginning of the season with Carr as a backup. The reason we really need to keep Carr is there will undoubtedly be an injury to the secondary next year. It happens every year. There will be one or two guys that will probably go down and we will need good depth. But Canady deserves to at least get a chance on the outside. I don’t see why he wouldn’t excel just as he is now.
 
I am excited about the corners going into next year. Marlon really stepped up as the season progressed and adding Tavon Young back in at the slot is only going to make us better. Jimmy, Marlon, Tavon. I am excited to see that. Our defense is young and some of the returning talent on our D-Line should develop. Timmy Williams comes to mind. Our offensive line got better as the year went, Yanda coming back is only going to make it that much better.

our RB situation, looks like we found a double headed monster, Dixon is back and will be the clear cut #2 at worst next to Collins. I am excited to see that develop.

WR, I really enjoyed what I saw from Moore. I hope we don't bring in another veteran unless his name is Boldin or Steve Smith. Either go out and get a younger guy or stick to the draft. What is going to happen to Perriman? His first offseason with Flacco is his only chance at this point.

TE, we can't rely on Watson for much longer. Maxx Williams is on the field all the time yet we don't utilize him. The name escapes me but the WR that converted to TE will be back next year. Maxx, Boyle, and that guy. Can we at least try and utilize those guys before we spend another draft pick?

Pees was a great X's and O's guy, but it just seems that he didn't get the best out of our players. Don't know if that's on position coaches or low IQ from players, but the next guy we bring in has to be a coach that can get the most out of our talented defense.

Yeah Pees is funny.
One moment he is a master of his craft, the next ummmm yeah. That. ( Kinda like the rest of the team if you think about it. )

I just want consistent performance and production.

We had so many blown coverages this season. I think I read/heard some where that his schemes were complicated for the players. Could that have some truth to it? Who knows.... he is leaving so we will find out.

Just so maddening how the team went all in on the D this off-season and they are the reason we lost in same fashion for two years.
 
There's a solid core of young defenders that is really exciting at every level. They just need to get them on the field for better or worse. The team needs to find out what they have in guys like Kaufusi, Wormley, Bowser, Williams, etc. because we don't really know what they bring to the table at this point and that is bad.

Too complicated for the players.

If I am being honest I would prefer complicated. Anything to confuse QB's.

There was an interview with Alex Collins recently. One comment struck me as very interesting.
He said something to the effect of "some players going out and partying, hanging with their boys and playing Madden, while others are training and studying the playbook"

DC's are only as good as their players execution ( I hope that is the right spelling ;) )
And players are only as good as the play call.
 
I'm excited about chuck Clark. If tony Jefferson can't excel with our next DC then Clark could be a very intriguing option at SS, he's big bodied and he has a nose for the ball and when he plays he often seems to be in place.

Yes. He was all over the field yesterday. And he plays with fire too.
