The Refs, the OL, and the Coaching

This is just fucking ridiculous.

If he hasn't earned the job competing with Faalele, what the fuck is he still doing on the Ravens roster?

Harbaugh is really full of shit. I'm sick of him.

Honestly it's not really easy to find quality offensive linemen. The team has seen Cleveland play well at right guard, right tackle and more recently at center in preseason. It really wouldn't make sense for them to cut Cleveland whom has shown versatility in such a way but what I think is that the coaching staff is probably disappointed with him maybe from
a work ethic standpoinr.

The right guard position is probably something this team has in high regard especially experiencing a guy like Marshal Yanda for so long. It's possible the coaching staff and the front office want that type of mindset and work ethic when it comes to their starting right guard. Cleveland was drafted in the third round by the team and I'm sure the coaching staff probably envision him being their next pro bowl guard.

I just think Cleveland hasn't responded in a way to please the coaching staff. Maybe it's the eat he practice or maybe he doesn't play with a mean streak. Maybe Daniel Faalele practice better than Cleveland and has more of professional approach to the game than Cleveland does.

I agree with him, it’s insane for Lamar not to turn around and just play the ball against Adams, don’t give the ref a reason to call you for DPI on a desperation 3rd and long
It's also his fault for not blocking Crosby too. If he's gonna get paid $50+M, then he damn sure better be ready to play multiple positions on offense AND defense.

This would imply that Harbaugh is not completely full of shit about his vendetta against Cleveland
Didn’t Ben show up to camp overweight one offseason? Is that why he’s still in that dumbass’s doghouse?
i mean the "ben knows what he needs to do" suggests it's not just about performance though doesnt it

I feel like this dude’s theory is it. Everyone knows Cleveland is the better guard. But Harbs don’t wanna be seen as a pushover and just hand him the starting spot. Even Reeta agrees and she’s plugged in over there.

Lost in all this is how well Stanley has been playing.

He's been an animal when we run the ball to his side. He is playing with an intensity

People are quick to forget what an animal healthy Ronnie is. His run blocking has been overlooked in college, too.
See, that's my thing. I think ppl vividly remember how awesome Ronnie is when he's fully healthy. The narrative around him is can he STAY healthy. So far he's been great (fuck all of those penalties against him).

I would argue having Lamar does a lot to make pass blocking look better than it is.
True, but I think all you need to do is look around the league to see they are doing a better job than many. QBs all over the country are running for their lives! lol

except for the Chiefs. If I was an Olinemen, I would take a 1-year prove it deal over there. Hold as much as I want and not give up any pressure. Cash in after.
The NFL and Vegas can dictate the game anyway they want with those refs.. but I'm the sucker cause I continue to watch

I have a huge problem with the "can he stay healthy?" qualification. It's not like he had pulled muscles every second week.
Dude had shattered his ankle, then doctors fucked up the surgery. Takes time to overcome that stuff. And Ronnie did.

Honestly ideally it's probably not a good look if you are a player in the last year of your rookie contract with a pretty good chance to start and make alot of money after the season and don't turn it up a notch from a practice stand point or even work ethic wise. I know as a coach you want to play your best players but it's not like Cleveland is some established veteran so it probably does look bad if Harbaugh excuses somethings when to come to Cleveland.

They actually called a lot against them in the Bengals game, in the end they got a bail out PI of course

The last time we beat the Raiders was November 25th, 2018. That was Lamar's second ever career start. Dating back to 2015, the Raiders have beaten us in the last 4 of 6 meetings we played them. We have yet to beat them since they relocated to Las Vegas.

It's just so crazy to me that Harbs really exposed himself about the Ben Cleveland thing. It would've been so easy to say something generic like Ben is working hard, all our players are working hard. We're gonna always put the best 5 out there the ones we believe give us the best chance to win.

Coach speak is easy. But Harbs really said fuck Ben Cleveland.

Harbs also really focused on the defense when answering questions about blowing leads. They for sure needed to be better but like the offense needs to go 3 and out multiple times every 4th quarter
