Championship Sunday Preview:

Rams @ Saints (3:05pm FOX): These two met on Nov 4th where the Saints won 45-35 and the playoffs are a different kind of animal. The Rams are very healthy heading into New Orleans this Sunday as nobody was listed on their injury report. The Saints meanwhile enter this game without DT Sheldon Rankins who tore his Achilles in the win over the Eagles which bodes well for Todd Gurley and CJ Anderson. The Saints will also be without veteran TE Ben Watson who may or may not be playing his last game on Sunday. Goff vs Brees, McVay vs Payton, it doesn't get any better than this.

Patriots @ Chiefs (6:40pm CBS): These two met in Foxboro where the Pats won 43-40 in a game where Patrick Mahomes threw for 4 TDs compared to Brady's one touchdown. The Patriots enter this game looking to end their road woes in AFC Title Games. They are 0-3 in their last Road AFC Title games(losses all from Peyton Manning led teams, 2015 & 2013 Broncos, 2006 Colts) with their last Road AFC Title Game win coming in 2004 in Pittsburgh against the Steelers. Statistically the Chiefs have played better at home where opponents average 17.4 points compared to 34.8 points on the road. Brady may not be their only problem as stopping the run is the major problem as Sony Michel went for 106 yards and two touchdowns in Foxboro and give up an average of five yards per carry at home to opposing running backs. Will Andy Reid get back to the Super Bowl for the first time since the 2004 Eagles or will the Patriots overcome their road issues and once again get back to the Super Bowl?

its so odd that in such an unpredictable season we have the 1 and 2 seeds in the championship round in both conferences and only 1 real proper upset

and more than that you've got the 2 preseason favourites in the NFC in the title game, the patriots for whom it's almost automatic they make it to the championship game every year and the chiefs who've looked bound to be in this title game since about week 3

it's odd that the least obvious team involved in championship sunday is the patriots

Hopefully we get a good Super Bowl match up out of today, but again any combination would give us that. Pats/Saints gives us at least ONE Brady vs Brees Super Bowl matchup. Rams vs Chiefs gives us a preview of what could be multiple times Goff and Mahomes meet in the big game. Brady/Brees vs the two young hot shots ready to take over the league.

I'll take the bet that at some point today the Saints snap the ball quickly on second and short and decide to pass it short - probably to Thomas if he has a one on one mismatch at the line.

i betted with saints and KC.. feel good about saints game but idk about KC.. that weather is crazy
that motherfucker brady says "when it's cold my mind doesn't slow down but their bodies do"

i hate him, hope Houston and Jones put some hurting on him.

This game is going to get ugly if LAR's offense doesn't get their shit together.
Early days yet and teams have come back from bigger deficits, but the stats are pretty one-sided atm. 106 passing yards to 7, 14 rushing yards to -2 and 10:05 ToP to 3:09.
