I believe Von Miller was the last defensive player to win SB MVP, and Donald with a big game could be the latest one tonight.

The refs missed calls against the saints too that would’ve changed the outcome as well. So yes it’s valid.

The refs missed calls both ways the whole game, as in they let them play. They missed none as blatantly and ridiculously obvious as this specific one which would have sealed the game for the saints. This wasn’t a case of letting them play/missing a subtle penalty like a lot of other non calls, there is zero excuse for not throwing this flag.

It's anecdotal so not worth a huge amount, but the chief sports reporter of Fairfax Media (an Australian company I do work for) has been in Atlanta for a week or so and says Patriots fans have outnumbered Rams fans by about 4-1.
