This was the first post starting the conversation. Tank quoted it with “bears need a place kicker” as in that’s the reason they lost. Which is completely false. Thanks for playing
Well

A. There can be more than 1 reason a team lost
and
B. If a kicker kicks a low enough trajectory on a 43-yard FG that it can be blocked then that's still on him.

Yeah I’m glad they recognized the finger touch and called it a block, keeps the kids name out of infamy. Fact is though he’s been inconsistent throughout his career and the Bears need a new kicker.

The Colts/Chiefs are up first at 4:35pm on Saturday. So the Andy Reid debacle in the playoffs comes early.

Divisional Weekend Preview:

Colts @ Chiefs (4:35pm NBC): The Indianapolis Colts head to Arrowhead Stadium for a playoff showdown against the Kansas City Chiefs. Can this January be any different with Patrick Mahomes under center? During Alex Smith's tenure, it always was said he was holding the team back and with Mahome having quick success in the regular season, can he transition that play to the playoffs? Eric Berry is questionable, and Ryan Grant is the only player ruled out for the Colts. Will Mahomes Magic be enough to overcome Andy Reid following a Bye syndrome and another early playoff exit or will the Colts shock the Chiefs and get one game closer to the Super Bowl?

Cowboys @ Rams (8:15pm FOX): The Cowboys don't have a hometown ref this week as they travel to Los Angeles to take on the Rams on Saturday Night. Dallas may have good success at home but their road issues are well known. They were 3-5 on the road in 2018 and the Rams boast a 7-1 home record even though the Falcons did come to LA last year in the Wild Card and beat them. Both teams are healthy as Todd Gurley is no longer on the injury report and Dallas has only ruled out DL David Irving. The Rams look to get their first playoff win under Sean McVay while the rest of the NFL look to hire anyone that attended the game on Saturday Night as their Head Coach in 2020.

Chargers @ Patriots (1:05pm CBS): Here we are, another January in Foxboro and another AFC team not named the Ravens attempts to compete with Bill Belichick in the playoffs. This may not seem like the same ol' Patriots of years past but how many times have we said that and they are competing for a Super Bowl in Feb. The Chargers will need to pressure Brady and get to him as often as possible to disrupt the Patriots offense, and that's why I agree with Stephen A that I don't trust the Pats to win............ well your season was fun while it lasted Chargers.

Eagles @ Saints (4:40pm FOX): Nick Foles, Super Bowl MVP. Quarterback who can catch a pass for a TD and beat Tom Brady in the Super Bowl. The man who made the Minnesota Miracle completely pointless in a blowout the very next week. Then there's Drew Brees who had the passing yards and passing touchdown records at Austin High School... until Nick Foles broke those records. You want to know what else is a record? The Saints are 5-0 at home in the playoffs under Payton and Brees. As long as their is magic under the helmet of ol' St. Nick, nothing is guaranteed including that undefeated streak. Will the Saints March to Championship Weekend awaiting the winner of Cowboys/Rams or will Nick Foles just spoil the fun once again and take the Eagles back to the NFC Title Game.

I said when he was drafted that Jared Goff would win 2 super bowls before his career came to a close.

Last year seemed a good time, but they weren't playoff-hardened.

So this year has to be his first one....I can't guess when his second could come.

There are a lot of plausible "storylines" in match-ups not involving the Rams, so it would seem unlikely the Rams do win it or even make it.

But I have foreseen Goff's rings, so it must happen.
