Honestly your contradiction is your contradiction but for you to want the team to get blown out just so John Harbaugh can demote or fire Zach Orr is interesting. This guy want Zach Orr to lose his job and for the team to get blown out for it to happen. I'm going to just go on ahead bow out now

I'll end here too. But it seems so many can't understand wanting vs expecting. Random and blind hope doesn't help anything. Regardless, :)

I watch All 22 at times but I don't agree with everything he say.Honestly if you put so much weight in what he states then you would have liked Devin Duvernay more because he was raving about him in 2022. I love Cole Jackson, Sip 2 Tally, Edgar Allen, and etc. These guys know ball but they also human and don't always get it right. Sip 2 Tally and Cole Jackson thought it was dumb the coaching staff was sticking with Daniele Faalele as their starting right guard. These are guys that watch tape and know ball but end up being wrong which may be premature given that the season isn't over with.
I like cole jackson but he’s such a homer, not objective at all

There is simply no way we beat the Chiefs if the secondary doesn't improve. We can get by the other teams in the playoffs but
not Mahomes .

Zach Orr will be fine guys. I trust John Harbaugh that he made the right decison. I hope for the best for Zach Orr and there is signs of improvement in some areas. Also Mike McDonalds himself didn't light it up right away as a coordinator during his first year . I bet he needed Anthony Weaver and that one guy that came from Michigan which I believe is Ryan Osborn to help support him and get his vision across for his defense. I never expected Zach Orr to step right in and take this defense to new heights beyond what we have ever seen or known to man kind. I expected some growing pains and I think Harbaugh did as well. In reality facing all these good quarterbacks so early should be beneficial for his growth as coordinator but I understand as fans we don't have patience when it comes to Orr growth but honestly we all have growing pains when we staring a new position.

Some are able to perform great right away than others but I guess the main difference is we don't have people that is not legit apart of the organization judging us and saying we should be fired after every mess up. I think God fans wasn't able to judge me during my first few weeks or months on the job. Yikes!!!! I probably would need a drink afterwards lol
Even with mike struggles, our impact guys were making impacts.. now that i think about it, its like they got things in order my position groups… right now, everybody look ass except hump

I knew you'd say that and that's just not true. Of course i want him to do well. Thats best for the team. Just being realistic though, he won't.

how is that more realistic than him getting better lol?

he's young, he's new to playcalling, he's clearly intelligent, he hasnt had the bye to self-scout yet - all those in and of themselves suggest he will get better

Wild that we can miss Marlon and still have a pretty solid CB group compared to the rest of the league.

Stephens, Wiggins, and Maulet as the top 3 with Ar'Darius and JAD as backups isn't too shabby.

I'm just gonna be more positive in rooting for him. It's hard to get worse unless you spiral. And we're already number 32 against the pass.

The question is can the improvement be big enough and timely enough over the course of this season. That just seems like such a tall order.

And for the record, I'm not anti Orr. I think John did him a disservice putting all this responsibility on him in a year where all the safety blankets were lost.

We didn't want to lose him. Think he may have been better off being MacDonald's DC.

I certainly hope he improves throughout the season and maybe he will since the DVOA isn't as bad

I hear ya about losing him. Whether it was right or wrong it was a very aggressive move by Harbs. Dennard Wilson would've been a far more conservative move considering the contending nature of this roster
