Week 8: Lamar, Our Hands, and The Coaching

I will say, I thought us working out a LS a few weeks back was an emergency list update type of move, but there could be deeper things there. Nick Moore had a couple of bad snaps today and a few over the last few weeks.

You should ask your guy about this topic.

Actually the ravens defense has only giving up 30 points twice this year. Not every week
If not 30, then a kick in the arse off it.

Imagine this defense being continually put in bad positions like the Titans, and coming back out with no rest again and again. it would be even uglier.

There was nothing wrong with the hold on Tucker's miss.

I think both sides of the ball could have done better. It was a team loss. I said it in the game thread, I feel like these are games we should win - but it's like you can see the loss coming.

I have to say on that note, I think the fact that the Deshaun Watson debacle now seems to be over in Cleveland - and it was fun while it lasted - but they were worse with him. They were a dejected team having a QB that wasn't the least bit interested in being there. And if anyone thought that they weren't going to rally with that asshat now out - that's on you. The Brownies aren't a bad team. They have a shitty owner, decent coaches, good talent - BUT - we still shoulda beat them today.

Players should be looking in the mirror tonight. I don't think that game hinged on coaching mistakes. One of two dropped balls, one on DEF and the other on OFF, win us that game, despite anything else... If there's a knock on our coaches it's the same shit - we don't seem to have a team that understands the "moment" sometimes.

Im telling you we may have to look for another kicker if Tucker continues to miss. What happens when the weather gets bad? He starts missing from 40 or more?

From 50 and beyond its a complete crap shoot right now and the weather is good. . Maybe 45 and beyond. His kicks keep going left.
Today was bad weather. The wind was causing them both problems. I don't think Tuck is done, he's still above average below 50. He's not special anymore and his leg's losing strength but a lot of kickers are worse.

I don't really mind losing to the browns because it's a hard division game. 1-6 wasn't real, Jameis is 100 times better than Watson, Wyatt Teller might be a hof and he was back, chub was back and new play calling. I understand why we lost

only annoying part is we won't change anything. No trades that move the needle because we need to stash 4th round draft picks.

Also, it's abundantly clear to me we would have continued to be unable to move the ball if Ward then JO didn't get injured. We looked better second half, and offense is far from the issue, but those first few drives - the intensity from cle -is what we will see in the playoffs and ultimately send us packing
And that's a major issue I see with the Ravens. They don't seem to match or excel in the intensity of their opponents when it comes to these division games.

I dont see a path for the Ravens to win their own division. Steelers are built well all around and it doesn’t matter if the Ravens offense is twice as good as the Steelers, if the Ravens defense gives up 30 to the likes of Gardner, Russ, and Winston. The strong defensive lines like the Steelers and Chiefs will still be the kryptonite to this team. This is the worst defense in franchise history with a so called top 5 LB, top 5 DT, and top 3 safety who just dropped the game winning pick.

Btw has anyone else thought or noticed there’s been a lot of pressure from the left when we kick?

Quite frankly, I don't care if we win the division. We win it, cool. As long as we make the playoffs and stay healthy, that's all I care about.
