The Defence, the Offence, and the Tucker

Oh, I also want to add regarding special teams-

Wallace's inability to field punts put the Ravens in so many holes. It felt like every time the Eagles punted, the Ravens had to drive 90+ yards.

That's incredibly unreasonable to expect from any offense. It also means that if the Ravens don't form a good offensive drive and are forced to punt, it puts the defense in a hole because they're having to defend a much shorter field.

This feels like the 2008 Chargers right now.
I feel like special teams cost us 14 points. 7 for Tucker and 7 for Wallace.

Wallace is doing this all season but he had that return vs Rams, so good luck convincing Harbaugh he's not the best returner in the league.

I have to wonder what's up with the special teams coaching because Duvernay was really solid as a return man and then all of a sudden, he stopped fielding punts and was giving up field position consistently. Feels like the exact same thing is happening to Wallace.

So much to be said about the game...... once again we lose because of bad coaching, and Lamar trying to do too much, or doing very little aka refusing to take the running lane when he has it. A few drives could have gone on differently if Lamar wasn't being hesitant to run, like he gets it in his head about what everyone says about how he isn't a QB. So he tries to force it, a couple of times he had good running lanes but he's still trying to look for the pass.

Something has got to happen with Todd Monken, his play calling is so uncreative and predictable. Henry out there? It's a run. If Henry isn't out there? It's a pass. Some of the play calling in game is so questionable, sure in some cases it comes down to players not executing but the play call still leaves you scratching your head. His inability to adjust to how the offensive line is playing is another head scratcher, at some point you need to adjust to quick and short passing plays when your o-line is getting beat. Constantly calling long plays when we were getting outmatched by the Eagles defensive line was atrocious. Like Rex Ryan said, the only person able to stop the Ravens offense is their offensive coordinator.

Special Teams as a whole....... FIRE EVERYONE. FIRE THE SPECIAL TEAMS COACH, BENCH TUCKER. FIND A NEW RETURNER WHO ISN'T AFRAID TO FAIR CATCH A BALL. So many things from a coaching perspective that would not be there if we had better coaching is just sad. Harbaugh wants to keep sticking with Tucker? So we made defensive changes and it worked, now bench Stephens for White please. Yet Harbaugh refuses to move on from Tucker? It's December, Tucker has been an problem all year for us and something should have been done to correct his issue as soon as it started happening.

It sure does.

Horton / Harbaugh / analytics, I don't see how can it be anybody else.

overall, the Ravens have drafted some guys who are good, but haven't hit on many great players.

It absolutely sucks because last year really looked like it should have been the year for the Ravens.
Concur. I've been realizing for years that the Ravens havent had HOF and almost HOF players in years. Like when they had Lewis, Reed, Suggs, Ngata, and Heap caliber players on the same teams.

LJ is great and Tucker was kicking at HOF level, but after that it was slim pickings to even find league-best type of players.

Last year really did feel like a huge missed opportunity

We(they) gonna stew on the bye week, mad as hell, come out guns blazing, giants should give us a hot start and win out, and then a SB rematch with the eagles for a blowout win while tucker hits all extra points cause we hit all TD’s on all drives. It’s done. Set it in stone.

For real tho, we can’t win them all, I put this as a loss on my record, yes I’d like to win them all and dudes give me hope and then crush them lmao but shit. Bye week should give us some rest and I’m thankful for that. Seems like so far for a bye week

Kyle Hamilton is an absolute superstar, but that was more EDC not messing up the pick rather than making a brilliant pick. Of course, credit where it's due for making the right pick, but the Ravens need to be better with drafting across the board and not rely on other team's messing up to get a superstar like Hamilton.

Yeah he is, but it doesn't seem to be enough.

The drafting hasn't been bad, but we don't have perennial All Pro talent outside of Lamar and possibly Kyle Hamilton.
