Next Up: vs Steelers

Sooky beat me to it. It all sounds good until Mike Williams makes BS his son. Over/under 2 legit defensive penalties BS commits because he was undisciplined.
We should do what we were suggesting with Tucker. Put him on IR with a mystery injury and just roll with Marlo, Wiggins, White and TJ Tampa at corner.

New game plan.... Lamar slides late to draw 15 yard penalties and plays up the hit like Herbert did. That will show TJ Watt.

I think we win.. even with a healthy steelers teams we win! Last game was no indication that they are a better team! Fumbles which gave them great position and some missed fgs cost us the game! For them to win, we have to lose the game ourselves again! If i was cheering for the steelers or even betting on steelers, no way would i be counting on the ravens to play careless again! If it those happen, we need new coaching staff lol

Exclamation mark spree!!! lol

Brandon could be covering Elmer Fudd and he still wouldn't turn his head to the ball.

It's as if he's wearing a neck brace.
Wiggins seems to play the same way. While very effective at times, pretty much zero chance for a pick and opens the door for untimely DPI calls.

literally not at all how wiggins plays lol

i think some of you dont understand that well executed fades are one of the most difficult plays to defend in football

wiggins and stephens do not play the same way at all

I don’t have the time to pore over tape like some of you so I’ll trust what you are saying. I can say that I can’t recall seeing Wiggins turn to look for the ball, which was my point. Playing the man without looking for the ball gives pretty much zero chance for a pick, and increases the chance of DPI being called.

Not even close to the same. I think you're letting a few bad Wiggins plays (first few weeks withstanding) influence your view of him because he has been borderline shutdown over the last few weeks.

And it is true that extremely occasionally when he's been beat recently he's been back turned. But that's been so rare post say week 4 honestly. And when the ball is thrown his way, the percent of the time it ends up on the ground is insanely high compared to nearly anyone in the league. I think I saw he actually has the lowest catch percentage of any CB in the league. Someone fact check that if it's wrong. But even if not true, the difference between he and Stephens couldn't be more dramatic. They're literal opposites in nearly every way

Exactly. He's not perfect, and he absolutely has been caught with his head stuck on the man and not the ball, but those plays have been few and far between in comparison to the rest of his game. Stephens on the other hand... that's been his whole game. He's been playing with an extreme lack of confidence this year which is so starkly different to the guy we got last year.

Somewhat related note, I was recently clued in to what Wiggins' off-field issue is and apparently they've been doing a good job managing it, which is probably why you've seen a spike in his play as well.

I normally don't give a rat's ass about uniforms, but since they play during the winter solstice they really need to use thesymbolism of all black uniforms tomorrow

Regarding Wiggins, that PI he took annoyed me badly. At that point let him catch it and try to dislodge it instead of the most obvious PI ever
I am still happy with his overall play, though

Also somewhat related... while Nate has been stacking good games, Roger has been on about the same trajectory in recent weeks. He's had some really damn good performances. Nice to see that the first 2 picks looks to be hits, and we're finally starting to get some signs that a few of the mid-late rounds guys (Isaac, Walker, Ali, and Kane) might be able to turn into contributors at least.

Idk, stephens just doesnt get his head around at all.. lot of wiggins plays doesnt call for him to get his head around. Not really a big enough sample size yet though.
