Swinson caught my eye as well.
Kyle kennard has been an odd man out from the beginning, I’m still high on him.
I would love some combo of Kyle kennard and omarr Norman-Lott on day 2
I'm also a fan of Norman-Lott. Feels like the first interior DPR I've ever seen but I'd be down.
Kennard is just eh. I don't think he gets drafted on day 2. Lanky guy with average juice, no strength and raw technique just doesn't move me.
that's my concern with norman-lott - dude's a DPR as an IDL... idk how he's gonna translate across a whole game's worth of snaps
with you on kennard as well - don't see it at all

I think mykel Williams has a chance to be a surprise faller, maybe even falls all the way to us.
I wouldn’t love him here, I’d trust the vision and hope our coaches develop him, he was built in a prototype edge rusher factory, motor through the roof, plenty to like, but he needs so much work on his pass rush skillset and his 2024 tape was atrocious in my eyes. Apparently he played injured all year and that’s why his 2023 tape was so much better, but I wonder if his 2024 tape actually knocks him way down because he didn’t look like a capable pass rusher this past season.
Also don’t see a hybrid type of edge, sure he can rush from the 2 point stance but I don’t ever wanna see him play vertical, strictly downhill and lateral

if he was more flexible in his lower half i'd be all over him with the length, power and burst he has and the floor he gives you in the run game
i see more of a 2nd round type prospect when i watch him - maybe a guy with a high 2nd round grade who sneaks into the late 1st because of the length and athleticism
the problem is he's being mocked a lot higher than that lol and i really don't see it at all

Is there any hope Boston College guy drops close to our pick?
before DJ mocked him at 19 to the Bucs i thought he would have a chance to be around at 27 for sure
most mocks have him available in the 20s
my worry is that this is a sign that the league is higher than the media on him and he'll start to rise in mocks
my hope is that DJ just wanted to signal boost a guy he really likes
certainly not out of the question he gets there - would be my dream pick if he gets there - a week ago i was sure he was gonna get there... not so sure now

Josaiah Stewart is actually a beast. That little mf looks like he could be REALLY good as a standup edge. I’m not even sure it would hurt our run defense, he plays with incredible leverage. He’s one of the most explosive pass rushers in the class.

he's so aggressive attacking pullers and stuff like that
if he's there in the 3rd that would be a home run pick - and a michigan player that i'd happily have harbs stump for
if his arms were an inch longer, people would be talking about him in the 1st round - he weighs the same as ezeiruaku, he's only an inch shorter than ezeiruaku but his arms are over 2 inches shorter - but he comes with a similar level of nuanced pass rush bag, explosiveness, bend etc.
absolutely fine by me if he goes top 15 - those traits were never in doubt
i just dont think he'll even be on the ravens board so him going top 15 would help push down someone else who is...
he's a super talented prospect for sure though
This is exactly how I feel. When I read 28 teams were at his pro day I assumed we were one of the 4 not in attendance. I want him, the Georgia Edge guys, Campbell from Bama and Shemar Stewart to go before us. Just to push better prospects down to us.
certainly i want mykel williams and mike green to go early and Jalon Walker will be gone in the top 10
but i like campbell and shemar stewart lol
but it is more likely than not that all 5 of those guys are gone well before we pick
I don’t dislike Campbell and Stewart but I’d rather not take a LB in R1 and I’d rather not take another unproductive traits guy in Stewart.
i'd obviously prefer someone like ezeiruaku but those guys are both in my top 15 prospects in the class so i'd feel lucky for 1 of them to be there at 27
it's actually ridiculous how many athletic but short-armed EDGE and DL there are in this class
