2025 Offseason Thread

I shouldn’t be surprised as Reddit is truly a cesspool of sanctimonious pseudo intellectuals, but god damn the whole ravens Reddit has decided Tucker is guilty and it’s clear as day. I would love to see Tucker win defamation suits
I will give them credit, some in the NFL Reddit have pointed out these accusations coming out as he starts missing kicks is a bit ironic.

I hadn't heard that his accusers contacted the Ravens. That does cast them in a bad light.

Even if they investigated the first case and ended with a "he said, she said" conclusion, the subsequent accusers should have been believed and Tucker cut or, more likely, traded.

I wonder if his godly facade helped him convince Harbaugh of his innocence?
So for me, the whole "they should have cut him tens year ago" thing doesn't really hold up.
For starters, you don't have criminal proceedings at all. So you're 100% cutting a player based solely off accusations, which I think is a total disaster from both a PR perspective (which obviously I think fans dramatically overvalue) and from a morality standpoint.
Second, you're going to be in a dogfight with at least the NFLPA over it, and likely in litigation with Tucker himself. IF the accusations turn out to be untrue, the organization is stroking a sizeable, 8-figure check to Tucker as a settlement. Minimum.

But even if everything is true and he really is who people say he is... there's no evidence the NFL, or the Ravens, do, will, or arguably even should care about any of this. Watson is still an NFL player. Was still a starter this year. Making shit loads and shit loads of $. There's people with domestic violence cases, DUIs, drug charges, gun charges, etc. up and down the league. Some got suspended, some never had anything happen to them.

This franchise, maybe above all franchises, has zero grounds to take a moral stance. There's literally a statue of a guy out front who, at a minimum, was heavily involved in a murder. At maximum, he did the killing himself and rolled over on his friends to save himself. Ray Rice was a thing. Terrell Suggs was a thing. Fuck Zay Flowers was a thing just last year.

People want to cut him now? I'm fine with that. But this whole "well they should have done it 10 years ago" stuff is bullshit. The NFL doesn't care. The franchise doesn't care. And the fans sure as fuck don't care. How do I know that? Because they're still here, after all the shit that's happened.

Will someone answer the question of what is actually being accused?
Hard to say, but I would assume from a legal perspective it would qualify as sexual harassment at a minimum, and I assume unwanted sexual touching of any kind is technically sexual abuse.

He allegedly stroked the inner thigh of one masseuse, and then several times of what I assume would qualify as indecent exposure. I have no idea where jizzing on a massage table would qualify in terms of the laws, but I can't imagine it's legal.

Would think at a minimum he has sexual harassment, indecent exposure and lewd behavior as actual "crimes".

Will sound like minimization on my part, but pretty much all of them are misdemeanors and the legal system would not, in any shape or form, take this that seriously. It's mostly just the idea that the public thinks its disturbing behavior and immoral. When shit like this happens with high profile people, it usually begins and ends with cash payouts to the victims.

Yeah it's disappointing behavior. He'll see no real legal justice brought against him, but he likely gets cut post June id expect.

This doesn't look good for Tucker either.

To be honest this makes me trust it less. Reddit is a cesspool, they full on go 100% with me too believe all women, would not surprise me if they just wanted to take a Christian white male down. This post seems like bragging, especially on afcnmemewar where you know you’ll get a hate circlejerk going.

Also those posts are from 2 years ago, doesn’t fit the timeline. I’ve never seen or heard of these rumors before and I consume way too much ravens content. Now all of the sudden it was common knowledge

This is one of their comments in response to someone saying this is why he was missing :

It def was... Once he missed continuously I started blowing the whistle hard saying he's mentally cooked and I theorized maybe this was seeing traction and a month later I'm getting a message from the Banner asking to provide anything I have... I had everything they needed, the names, the timelines all in screenshots. I'm so glad it finally came out. Can't stand tugger

Honestly that person could just be full of shit and they’re not the source but if they are right this is quite literally the definition of hearsay. The friend of a friend, random facebook gossip. The bengals have someone who raped a 15 year old and there was an actual campus police report and no one even cares. I get the profile of the players involved. But man, I hope Tucker wins defamation suits.

This person talks about her fake Twitter account that is goat. Smells like bullshit

I don't want to get into a deep discussion, but this thread should shed light on why women are hard pressed to want to come forward. So many people who seem to be fully on the couldn't be Tucker train because he's good at football and it'd be beneficial if he's on the team and innocent than the other opposite.

But I will also say- in the case of Deshaun Watson, those women received death threats. I don't think anyone here is THAT unhinged, but people are with these celebrities.

Why wouldn't the stores come forward? I'd imagine coming forward would absolutely wreck their reputation and their business.

I don't have any actual insight into the case, but we have at least nine women who have come forward, people who have shared this being an issue YEARS ago, and a member on the board who was pointing toward substantial issues with Tucker all year.

It's really not looking good.

That Twitter user seems to be responding to every official Baltimore Ravens tweet demanding they cut Tucker and slandering the organization. Seems like main character syndrome. Idk. Not saying it can’t be true but this person is not helping their credibility with all their shit posting imo

Yea but this new Twitter and Reddit user seems to be taking credit for the whole thing, friend of a friend. I understand your point, it shouldn’t be hard for the nfl or organization to figure out if it’s true or not in terms of confirming with the massage companies that he was banned and they did have records of this.

I’m just a little taken aback at how Facebook gossip is being taken as gospel and that all of the sudden this was a well known rumor and secret in Baltimore.

I think that's what is annoying me the most right now, but people live to be the main characters nowadays. So many people coming out of the woodworks saying they've known this for years, yet never said anything. Feels like a lot of people wanting to pretend they were in the know, which diminishes those that actually are.
