2025 Offseason Thread

Listen… I like Shedeur too, but let’s not crown him yet. He still gotta beat out Flacco.
I personally think its a very, very, very tough sell to suggest Shedeur is a better QB than Gabriel at this point. And I will be surprised (though not shocked) if Shedeur a) wins the starting job out of camp or b) is even the first "backup" to get reps in real games.

And I think its more likely than Shedeur gets outright released at final roster cuts than it is he wins the starting job right away.

Dam thats actually all i can think of. Maybe brees and cam newton comes close. Cam always been ass to me but he was winner so maybe thry come close? Arod and stafford?

Those are damn good answers, thanks for that. Cam was only really elite for a season or two and Stafford has always been kinda borderline elite more than hands down (he was basically Justin Hebert til he got traded). Even McNair/Peyton , McNair only had like 3 truly elite years. So Burrow/Jackson could easily end up one of the best of all time. I'd take them over Marino/Kelly tbh.

rodgers and stafford is a good one - probably the closest recent one i guess...

maybe manning vs rivers

eli vs romo and ryan vs brees don't really do it for me...

idk anything about them but ive seen people say the answer is jim kelly vs dan marino
in terms of pure aura, feels like that's the rarefied air that the lamar-burrow in-division rivalry could get to

Jim Kelly and Dan Marino were one of the best elite duo's in the same division, if not the best.

I think lamar vs borruw maybe the best. Basically undisputed top 5 qbs like the last 3 years
