2025 Offseason Thread

So he gonna play on the side stephens played on correct? cause ive never seen wiggins move from his side

Exactly my thinking. I forgot to mention, but in his last full season, Alexander played 745 snaps at RCB and then 53 at LCB and 23 in the slot. He's able to play virtually everywhere. But I would assume we'd hope that he bookends Wiggins, and Chidobe Awuzie would spell them as insurance for either side.

You might as well just give JAD the S reps and build some depth there while having him as an emergency CB option

Marlo - Nate - Jaire - Chido - Tampa - Kone
Kyle - Starks - Brade - Kane - JAD

Let's eat

You think we still got a chance at resigning Clowney now?

Either way… I’m freaking floating!

They aren't near as worried about the Edge room as the fans are, at least this year. They know they need to hit long term but they like the room they have for 2025. They're much higher on guys like Oweh, Robinson, and Isaac than what people think. And they haven't given up on Ojabo and still like Hamm if he can get through the injuries.

From what I was told in the last few days, they're monitoring the market at 3 more positions based on where the roster stands now, but their plan is for the young guys to fill the roles. If they fail to capitalize into TC, they'd consider making a move.

S - they really like the improvements Kane has made and believe in Brade too

ILB - Roquan and Trenton have been joined at the hip and they're expecting him to take that job

OL - they want youth to step up but they're not going to pass up a good vet if one were to become available

They were engaged on Jalen Ramsey the whole time but didn't want to trade a pick and give him the money he wanted. Jaire is a stark discount from what they were willing to do for Ramsey, and that still wasn't the offer Ramsey wanted.

think jaire's a better stylistic fit too, even if ramsey's probably the better player right now (in a vacuum)

Absolutely love this signing. From showing how well our player-to-player recruiting works, how much our FO listens to its mainstays, and from how much this potentially shores up our CB group. Availability could still be a concern, but Alexander has played both sides, surprisingly even more RCB than LCB the last several years, and he's been terrific when on the field. Also, the guy's a dog. Gives us the attitude boost we had with Marcus Peters.

the downside is the availability, not the performance when available

also is only going to be asked to be CB3 here, and we have good/great CB4 options in Awuzie, Tampa and Armour-Davis
