2025 Offseason Thread

Kinda forgot Pags is on board now. Really fortunate for the DBs, and the team to have him here. Could low key be a big piece of a historically good defensive squad.

Fuck the 2nd round pick. He still got to worry about the first rounder as well. Apparently he's the only unsigned first rounder.
I'd laugh my ass off if he ends up at Texas A&M

I’m so curious how this gonna play out for em. Apparently they tried this with their last couple of 1st round picks.. but they caved in at the end and removed it. But those players practiced and didn’t make a scene about it.

Shemar went the opposite direction and got hella loud. Now if Mike Brown and his daughter caves… they gonna look hella weak lol. Puts them in a tough spot

I'm gonna call it now. He holds out for the year, re-enters the draft, gets drafted by the Ravens in the 4th, develops into a good-great pass rusher over the next 4 seasons before he leaves in free agency and gets us a 3rd round comp pick

Fair compromise, higher guarantees for the players than usual but not 100%
It's a win for the players. I just think its helpful if people contextualize that, in real $, it's not super significant.

For most of these guys, we're talking about guaranteed $ than is significantly less than $1M more than the guy who went in their slot last year.

Is it a win? Of course. But its not like these guys are getting substantially more $.

I honestly would gladly take him as an Oweh replacement next year if he's available.

Faalele didn’t belong in the pro bowl last year or whatever accolade he won, but I’m definitely not losing hope that he can be a very good guard.

Still think he’s better suited for tackle where his length shines and his lateral movement doesn’t hurt him as much, but he just can’t see the field as a tackle and if he develops at guard it’s a big gain for our roster

I think I've mentioned all of these names indirectly before, but some non-rookie end of roster types that they think can or will play in the league...

Dayton Wade, Corey Bullock, Darrian Dalcourt, CJ Ravenell, Malik Hamm

Doesn't mean they're going to make the 53 by any means but they should at least be in the competition if they keep rolling in training camp like they did in minicamps.

He really feels like a traitsy guy who needs good coaching to put it all together, just like Oweh so I think he would be a great replacement for him especially if KVN stays around for a little bit longer to help coach him and Green up

There’s only 2 or 3 preseason games now right? Gonna be hard to make the 53.

But it might be easier to sneak them onto the PS.

To be fair, I'd think all of these guys are firmly on the outside looking in.

But consistent practice is what will win them a spot, not preseason performance.
