I think willie henry may well be inactive for 1 more week - he'll only have a week to practice at an incredibly physical position when he had surgery on his abdomen only 4 weeks or so ago - id imagine he gets a week

i think mclellan's getting cut - likely between him and CJ Board but Board is cheaper and younger and faster and made a big play on teams vs the steelers

but the inactives are easy in that case:

  1. RGIII
  2. Anthony Averett
  3. Darious Williams
  4. Hronis Grassu
  5. Jordan Lasley
  6. Zach Sieler
  7. I think this is unfortunately between Willie Henry or maybe even Tyus Bowser
I think it ends up being Bowser, when Henry is healthy.

Does Ricard even play anymore? I feel like it’s always Boyle or Maxx in the backfield.

Maxx is not going on the inactive list. He is too valuable as a blocking TE and can obviously catch.
Yeah - it seemed like the team was selling Maxx as a blocking TE (was that because he wasn't performing as the pass catching TE we thought we drafted?). It seems you rarely see Boyle catch the ball on anything other than that same bootleg play. I think Maxx is better route runner/pass catcher, so if Maxx and Boyle are even close to being on the same level blocking, I expect to see Boyle be inactive rather than Maxx. Especially if they don't necessary want to hand Hurst a full load on his first game back.

I think he may be too. The front has been playing well enough that we will feel like we don't need to rush him back. That may not be the case if he's looking 100% in this weeks practices, but otherwise, I wouldn't doubt we hold him out. I feel like we've done that with Mosley and Hurst, so I expect the same with Henry.

It is great to see us be able to carefully work injured players back into action. Look at Fournette ... the worst thing in the world is to have guys aggravate existing injuries (though hammys are maybe the worst). In their case, I think they say their best runner for 2 weeks - only to set him back to square 1 with his injury.

So, with 2 wins in a row under their belt; I saw that the Ravens are at #10 on the power ranking list but this article has them at #2:

https://ftw.usatoday.com/2018/10/nfl-power-rankings-week-4-rams-patriots-packers-cowboys

Their defense ranks #1 in many categories and the analysts have even said that the most "for real" 3-1 team is the Baltimore Ravens.

Our boys are seemingly getting a lot of love now since dropping the broncos and the steelers back to back. However, with that being said; imo the Ravens have the opportunity to prove that all of the new found praise of them is well deserving by also beating the Browns to stack 3 "W's" in a row!

Let's get after it boys.....

the titans are sneakily loaded in young explosive talent on both sides of the ball

on offence they have matt lafleur being creative schematically
corey davis looks like an elite number 1 wr
jonnu smith looks like delanie walker lite
taywan taylor is a nice complementary piece who takes the top off
taylor lewan, jack conklin
derrick henry but maybe even more importantly given their passing attack: dion lewis
marcus mariota has been playing well despite the injuries

on defence
jurell casey is looking like fletcher cox out there
harold landry has been awesome (easily one of the top 10 rookies so far in the pros)
derrick morgan and brian orakpo are solid edge defenders with noses for the football
wesley woodyard is a premier run-stuffing linebacker
rashaan evans looks like he's a real talent after having his progress slowed by a hamstring injury
kevin byard is an all-pro safety
logan ryan, malcom butler and adoree jackson are all fairly solid corners
kenny vaccaro has come in and made an impact replacing jonathan cyprien

this titans team is really well coached and the roster is really well balanced with lots of talent
@Inqui and I love Byard. He was our boy that year and I’m still pissed we didn’t get him. He would’ve been awesome here.

I think it's quite possible that jimmy doesn't start in name this week, but plays the majority of the snaps on his side of the field. According to the shadow matrix on PFF, Carr has been shadowing the other teams best receiver up until this past game when Humphrey was on Brown the majority of the time.

it's not been about best/worst receiver - it's been about which outside corner is best suited to which receiver
with jimmy back we'll likely be able to go back to LCB and RCB

I think that’s what we will end up doing as well.

I think they'll ease him in. He's still missed plenty of time and I think Carr has done a really good job. It depends on how Jimmy is coming off his injury. If he's as good as he is last year, then no doubt he's starting and going forward that will be the case.

If Hayden hurst plays this week, I really hope he comes out strong. Not just because obviously it helps us win, but he’s such an exciting prospect and I just really wanna see that exciting play on the field

Playing after six weeks with a stress fracture is at least three or four weeks ahead of average time to return to play. I don't think the Doctor will allow him to play this week. Besides, why rush him back if Mark and Max are playing well?

what are you talking about - hayden was always supposed to come back after 4 weeks or so - he is exactly on the schedule that was put out there when the surgery happened...

if anything he's slightly behind the initially reported schedule which said he'd miss 3-4 weeks from when the injury happened - it will have been 6 weeks from injury to his first game if he plays this sunday...
