Carr has not been our best CB just stop
Technically he has. Humphrey is an elite strong safety and Tavon Young has always been a liability and isn’t a piece we can rely on moving forward and we should move him to FS. Our secondary is pretty impressive given the fact that we had only one real corner the first four weeks

So I had kinda forgotten that Willie came from the Saints until reading this article. Huge game for him.

Hey remember that game a few years back when Boldin played his old team (the Cardinals) and him and Joe got mad and took over the second half of that game and just exploded. How cool would it be if Willie and Joe played like that this Sunday? It has me pumped just thinking about it.

He's literally given up 1 TD compared to Marlon's 3, passer rating when targeted is 69.2(11th among all CBs) compared to Marlon which is at 91.6. He has 5 pass breakups which is 8th in the league including a crucial pass break up on JuJu that stopped a TD reception. He also had a big INT that was nearly returned for a TD against Buffalo. Not only has he done well in coverage but he's been a playmaker at times.

Judging by these numbers and the eye test I would probably say he's preformed better then anyone at this point.

I'm a big fan of Marlon, but this is a testiment to how good Carr has been since people want to act like he's gonna get burned every game.

There is a HUGE caveat in there anx that is for instance that there is a reason Carr had that huge breakup on JuJu and not on say Brown and that is because Humphrey was busy covering the Steelers (and the NFLs) number 1 WR because the last time Carr did it he was a revolving door in a way that would make Rashaan Melvin go "dude you are getting destroyed out there"

You can't be the better CB if you aren't the one they are asking to cover the top player.

If I can recall, JuJu had 3 straight 100 yard games prior to that game and was top 5 in receiving yards. Also, yes, Marlon did cover AB for the majority of the game, but was it one on one? Obviously not because no one can cover him 1v1 but let's not ignore the fact that he did have help. I mean, we even had him doubled on the GL. On the other hand Carr was tasked with the responsibility with covering JuJu most of the time alone. That's a pretty tall task for anyone.

I'm not criticising Marlon by any means, I'm a big Marlon fan but I think people are overlooking the type of season Carr has had so far by saying he's going to get burned pretty much every game and I honestly don't think he's getting the recognition for the type of year he's having.

Also, it's no suprise Carr struggled against AB last year. Football is a game of matchups and CBs are prone to being exposed for their weaknesses just as much as anyone else.

To put it into better context, I'm not saying Carr is a better player, but instead of the fact that among all our CBs, that he's playing the best Football.

And THAT'S the issue right there!

That information can't be so easily overlooked or dismissed. I once saw a piece on Sean and Drew's relationship and Sean "asked" Drew which plays did "He like" to scheme for their upcoming opponents and their tendencies. He gave Drew free reign to pick the formations and plays that would work against their opponents. That QB has incredible liberty!

Come on now, you talk like every QB would be great if given liberty. Not everybody can do what Brees does.

Most importantly... I picked up Nick Chubb before Hyde was traded. Back to the regularly scheduled program.

Where in that post did I even hint that I was talking about "every" QB having liberty would be great? Where?

Dom, it's going to be a loooooooooong game for our team "IF" the Ravens offense isn't clicking to move the chains, keeping Breezie and company on the sidelines and by finishing off their drives with TD's (when the opportunity presents itself). I personally believe that the very last thing that the Ravens offense can afford to happen is for them to be in a so-called shootout with Drew Brees. That may not end well for them at all. I know it, and YOU know it! C'mon bruh lol!
We all know this though dammit LMAO. It's just like the Steelers game. Now we were fortunate enough to still win despite leaving them off the hook with the Collins fumble and the 4 field goals in the second half. Our running game is still struggling to an extent yet we still have had success on offense albeit inconsistently.

Now I'll say this: all eyes need to be on Flacco for the first 2 or 3 possessions because that usually determines how our offense performs for the rest of the game. I remember when we were asked if we wanted either an elite offense with a good defense or a good offense with an elite defense, we BOTH went with the elite defense. This game will help us determine if we are right in this assessment or not.

That would be cool! I thought about Boldin last week when Willie jumped up and got in that guy’s face after a big hit. He plays with that same hair on fire passion.

Oh yeah? I drafted Chubb in the last round because I knew something like this would happen lol

Juju had 3 straight 100 yard games because people put their focus into stopping AB. This is not an indictment on Juju he is certainly a high level number 2 WR but his numbers are inflated by AB even when AB is not catching it.

*off topic but lotto related*
There's a woman on Auckland 's North Shore who won $333K in May this year on lotto. That same woman won another $11 million on lotto last Saturday. You should ask her.
Wtf the odds of winning the lottery TWICE has literally got to be impossible lol. You’re more likely to see your dead great grandparents walking down the street

You didn't but that's the implication I got out of your post. Because long OC-QB relationship doesn't really predicate the freedom given to quarterback.

1st.....Nothing other than what I actually stated in my post was implicated!

2nd....I never said anything about a long OC-QB relationship being the bases for freedom given to a Quarterback. You said that! Lol!

3rd....I only mentioned one Quarterback specifically in my post....Drew Brees! I said that he had the "liberty" to pick his favorite formations and plays to scheme against upcoming opponents defenses.

To me, Brees being able to have that type of liberty is awesome! That is a very unique thing that he and Sean has going on and it was great to see when I saw that piece @allblackraven.
