Training Camp

What the hell John Harbaugh!?!?!
Todays practice CANCELED!!!!! So the team can go to The Pentagon?
Really?
What does The Pentagon have to do with football?
Nothing I will tell you !!! We have a season to get ready for, we don't have time to go sightseeing.
We might as well tank the whole season.
We are doomed.

Yes. Complete and sarcasm.
Yeah, I also like how Harbs does these trips to make a make a point to the players. I think they went to Gettysburg also. IMHO they give the guys a break and help build team unity.

I just want to say I'm thankful there are 10 days between MIA and BUF, this shoukd leave some room for some players to return from injury without rushing it, and for the others to rest their bodies so as to not get injured in the game.

My wish is to let Woodrum start the entire game to show us if he can be a viable back up by gauging his performance with the first team offense vs the Bills first team defense. Really that would quell a lot of unease with Mallett.

I disagree because if Woodrum were to start over Mallett then that would show more of a quarterback controversy in Baltimore. They aren't going to keep Woodrum over Mallett after only one preseason start as well. I think this move would make fans a lot more uneasy going into the season.

Time to spill the beans on Ronnie Stanley, Harbaugh. Did he tear his Hamstring or Labrum in this shoulder? You know, ''Camp Stuff''...

Tim Williams back to practice. Humphrey, Stanley, Woodhead absent from practice field (along with Perriman and Flacco).

These injuries and lack of practice time has to catch up some time during the season. Its almost like most starters have been injured at one point during this camp...

Is this analysis based on a scientific study?
Soft tissue injuries like this can definitely be attributed to poor conditioning or too strenuous a workload. Acls and Achilles and shit like that are freak accidents, but this many strained hamstrings seems like a trend with a source that can be pinpointed.

I've always been skeptically on the bandwagon of "harbaugh camps are too tough and our conditioning staff is subpar" and this offseason isn't helping dispel that idea

And if this is to be assumed, might the players be somehow culpable?
What source specifically?

given that the ones who've fully bought in (and werent injured in training camp - i.e. not the guys who did their injuries outside of camp etc.) are still going strong like weddle and i get the impression that some of the other guys were less entrenched in saunders system last year - maybe it could be the latent after effects of not being on saunders system last year but on it this year?

just a thought
