Week 12 Discussion: Happy Thanksgiving

Not exactly. That’s usually what the 6th seed is all about winning the games you should and one decent win (pitt) if we can beat Atlanta we have a very decent shot to make the playoffs and I wouldn’t call Atlanta good ether. Do I think this team should make the playoffs? No. Do I think we can? Yes. If we get pitt or the pats round one we have chance. I can’t see us beating the Texans, funny enough the worst of those 3. We just always suck vs Houston espically in there house
This team isn’t built for a title run and I don’t think anyone could argue that no matter the q.b. I think if we want to win a playoff game joe is our shot at that. But I love what I saw from Lamar. His deep ball had some nice power and his speed matches the nfl. I hope we use him more and now he is a threat to pass or throw. I think this could cause some real danger. That third and one with 3 minutes left. Yes. Please.
I think joe has like a 30% chance of winning in NE or Pitt and Lamar’s chances are less than 10. Expierence matters big time then espically with a meh team like ours around us. I want to see more lamar in the offense for sure. We still have to not pull a ravens postseason chance collapse
If I were to write the story perfect yet realistic? We beat the falcons bucs and fall to the chargers and chiefs. This is with flacco under center playing very good, not great but 250 yards 1-2 td games turnover free. Tons of lamar packages that keep defenses guessing and our own defense plays stout and does enough. It comes down to a week 17 game against the browns to get into the playoffs but the colts have to lose. Flacco has a very good game and we beat the browns but the colts win. Lamar collects a ton of experience and Flacco walks of the field with a smile as the fans scream and cheer as he waves bye for his entire time here, and clips of the mile high miracle, the Super Bowl, and even the 2011 division championship play. Ozzie is also given a standing ovation of all he has done with us. Marty is fired the next day and banished from our town. The lamar era begins and the flacco era has a perfect ending.

not sure the title wont be over in the NFC North well before that - Bears are clearly the best team in that division - and clearly the only NFC team that's even got a hope in hell of getting anywhere near the rams or saints

That’s just not true at all and pretty stupid to say. Don’t be a victim of the moment. The vikings could easily get hot and beat the Rams or saints in the playoffs.
You guys keep acting like these teams are unbeatable. I mean come on, it’s like you haven’t watched the nfl before. Playoffs are about who gets hot at the right time. Not about who’s the best team. @rossihunter2 we know you get a hard on for the saints lmao but they aren’t a lock for the super bowl.
lol - im not saying the saints are guaranteed to get to the superbowl - but outside of the rams - show me a team (other than the bears) with a clear roadmap to beating the saints or rams...
im not being a victim of the moment - ive been preaching this since early on in the season - so you can still disagree with me and think its stupid but dont tell me im being a victim of the moment
yes a team like the vikings could get hot - that's always true but for a team not the rams and saints to get to the superbowl, they're likely going to have to beat both of those teams... that's a big ordeal
