Saying kaepernick was a better passer at this point in their respective careers shows a bias, it shows that you are denying truth to support your claim. Kaepernick should drop football and go to track and field and specialize in sprints and javelin toss, because that’s all he did on the field. Kaepernick may have had a more accurate straight line pure velocity throw, but as far as working the pocket and going through reads, putting touch on the ball, scramble-to-pass and other improv passes, lamar is far better. With kaepernick, you could forget about any pass that wasn’t either a slant with a wide open lane, a comeback, or a all out max distance fade, if he had to go over a defender it’s a tip or a pick, if that first read wasn’t open he’s running.Where is my bias bro? I’m biased to think Lamar isn’t a good passer right now? I’m biased to not like his style of play? I mean wtf do you mean by biased? Don’t ascribe a label on me that you aren’t defining and justifying.

He was top 10 in passing yards before he went down, but he only managed to get there because he attempted more passes than any other qb to compensate for his low ypa statI dont believe it is he was 9th in yards atleast during week 9
And what I’m saying is that declaring that kaep was a better passer in his 13th week in the nfl is just silly. Kaepernick filled in for a short stretch as a rookie, so when he finally took over and became this phenom you speak of, he was a full year in at the pro level, and he was still far behind lamar as far as refinement and mental capacity goes, and throughout his whole career he never developed touch or learned more than 3 throws and never learned to work the pocket and go through reads, lamar bypasses kaepernick in all these aspects alreadyJust from memory as outcome, Kap his first year was hailed as a phenom and to be fair his style and the way they ran that offense that year was successful enough to almost win the Super Bowl. He had a cannon and good straight like accueacy but it became apparent in the Super Bowl a bit and the upcoming seasons that he didn’t have other throws in his toolbelt. But I can’t temember exactly what I said , but what I’m getting at is a similar situation to what we are going through occurred with that team and I am not trying to say Lamar and Kap are exactly the same or Lamar can’t get better. Perhaps work ethic and drive will take Lamar further. But I see limitations to his passing game that we don’t know whether he’ll get better or not.
Jesus ... Did I say Bob was going to be the 2019 MVP? Let me check ... No I didn'tAnd last year Alex Collins was going to become the best RB in the NFL. Do you happen to remember that hype?

That may be, but RGIII destroyed his hopes of being the dynamic player he was envisioned to be by diving forward in the face of one speeding mack truck named Ngata. That should have ended his season but instead the Skins decided to continue to play him so it could ruin his career. There are more injuries when a qb is hit in the pocket then when a qb runs in the zone read. This has stuck with me whe I read an article back in 2012, when RG3 led the Skins to the division title. If I can find that article I will post it.
Rg3 was done before that.. he was never a good qb imo. That may be, but RGIII destroyed his hopes of being the dynamic player he was envisioned to be by diving forward in the face of one speeding mack truck named Ngata. Well, the conversation wasn't a debate on how good a QB he was or was going to be before he got wrecked ... the conversation was about how he got wrecked and it wasn't standing in the pocket.Rg3 was done before that.. he was never a good qb imo.
Could it be marginally better than it was when he was in earlier this season? Yeah - I think it could. But continue to play like it has been over the past weeks since Lamar came in - No.Yall think this run game would continue to play well even with flacco at qb?
i agree.. i hope its his mechanics or something cause if not he might be fuckedFair enough, I’m just saying that offense was more explosive and productive than ours is currently.
Lamar isn’t guaranteed to get better as a passer. I hope he does. But at some point practice doesn’t help, you either got it or you don’t.
I agree with this and the threat of us passing gives us more of an edge with Joe as the starterCould it be marginally better than it was when he was in earlier this season? Yeah - I think it could. But continue to play like it has been over the past weeks since Lamar came in - No.
See the interesting thing is the comments players have made really make me think the locker room may be split with sizzles comments yesterday and eric waddle said he imagines joe will start when healthy last weekAll the pros and cons ... as the Flacco v Lamar debate rages on in this thread...
Lets think for a minute how our players would vote. Yanda "We just love to pound the rock". What does that tell you? And please, the defense? You don't think they're happy about it when they get of the field, they often don't see it for the next 8 minutes of game play?
Phil Simms said, Harbaugh will absolutely keep Lamar in even after Flacco is back, otherwise there will be a revolt among the players. I think he's right on both counts.

The split might be WRs vs everyone else.See the interesting thing is the comments players have made really make me think the locker room may be split with sizzles comments yesterday and eric waddle said he imagines joe will start when healthy last week
