After what happened today, there is no doubt left in my mind any longer - keep building O line and defense with elite players from draft, see what kind of weapon can you sign to help the offense. TEs are great right now, RBs solid, can improve a little, need one good pass catcher to open stuff up going deep and let Lamar play ball. Should be good enough for playoffs.

Yeah I know this was just literally the last time they re-signed a player to relatively expensive contract. Part of that success is their coaches don't leave every year. WR coach 10 years, OL: 24 years RB coach 20 years etc...

crabtree one and done isnt the biggest surprise
jimmy smith out of hand not being retained for that cap hit is surprising at this point - the fact that there's no situation where he's expected to stay at that cap hit is a surprise for sure

i suppose we really are committed to a complete retooling of this roster and creating extra cap space

This is just very bad reciting by rotoworld. Zrebiec just listed a bunch of guys who the ravens might consider cutting, mainly because of their cap hit. Also we aren't in rebuilding mode.
