exactly his skillset isnt well-suited to playing safety tbh - why keep him, pay him that money and then put him out of position where he has less value to the team...

I disagree that his skill set doesn’t translate. If we’re talking why move him when he’s still a top CB, I agree. But I don’t agree with the idea he can’t.

Part of me is wondering if everything is quiet on the Bell front because he's waiting to see what happens with Mosley. Bell is a different cat, and I could really truly see him wanting to stick it to the Steelers twice a year, and help us to slight them. I'd honestly rather have Bell at $14M/year over 3-4 years than Mosley at $15M+ and Bell to a degree helps solve some WR issues we have as well.

Yeah I think we need to be careful of going too far with the youth movement. I’m not sure who it is we’re anticipating will fill these leadership roles. Especially if we let Mosley walk but even then he doesn’t seem like that spiritual leader type like we had in Weddle and Sizzle.

anthony levine was around towards the end of that year but played in 1 game only i think and then went on I/R
