Obviously NY is probably the highest bidder, I’m sure the Ravens have a competitive offer, and something tells me that Bell’s Pride means more than a few million. He has to be strongly considering the chance to play PIT twice a year.... If the Jets were so certain to sign him with a big offer, he probably would have announced his decision by now. I still think he doesn’t come here, but one can hope.

Now that he is gone, you know people opinions may change.. he was decent though. Gets a lot of qb hits even if the sacks not there. Gets pressure often.. gotta watch out for the slipping and falling though

Solid player, not worth that money though. He’s a nice moving rusher, he brings great penetration on the inside and is just a relentless bully as a rusher, but he has struggled to finish with sacks throughout his career through his own faults, usually tripping/slipping/completely whiffing on sure sacks, but if he doesn’t have to use his feet too much to bring down the qb then he can do damage.

If your DC likes to call stunts and move edge rushers to standup in the A gap to rush, then he’s a good add. Regardless though, overpaid.

Pretty much. He's basically a sub package player. I'm afraid the Packers expect him to be 3 down edge rusher and he just isn't that at all. Almost all of his sacks come from up the middle. I don't know if the Packers have the personnel or coordinating to really get the most out of him. Pretty bad overpay. Honestly reminds me of how Mcphee got picked up to be a full time edge player in Chicago but the money wasn't as bad.
