I was talking with my packers friend at school and I saw they signed him but not the deal. I said yea if you guys got him around 6-8 a year it’s not a bad contract. I saw the number and died laughing

I’m really confused with what they’re going to do with ZDS. The majority of his pressures came from playing inside. Packers have Mike Daniels and Muhammad Wilkerson inside. Also Mike Petine only likes to rush 3 and drop his OLBs in coverage. It’s a really confusing signing to me.

But if the arc of the market is what we're seeing, I think guys are going to be reluctant to take those extensions. Why not wait and get the big payday they have seen their colleagues get by waiting it out?

True but they may want to take the bird in the hand. It depends on the offer honestly and the player. Some guys like extensions because it’s done and they don’t have to worry about it as long as it’s respectable.

Am I insane to want Bell? I had in my mind that if we lost Mosley that Bell would be a really nice get to make up for the loss.
I know it would be risky, but the potential is super exciting. Ingram just doesn't seem like much of an upgrade over who we have. We need an explosive playmaker along side Lamar. Bell could be that guy.
I know it is looking unlikely, as we're rumored to be after Ingram, but could we still be pursuing Bell and only looking at Ingram as a fallback position?
