Dom McRaven

Hall of Famer
My wife is a Ravens fa n but knows nothing at all about the draft. She is somehow pretty accurate picking the ravens first round pick. She called Humphrey and Mosley. Here is how that works; I throw five or six names her directions.....she doesn't know anything about them and just gives a guess purely off of feel. As I said, she's been pretty lucky. Anyway, I threw some names at her this morning and without hesitation she answered, "Josh Jacobs"
I'd be unhappy with drafting a RB in the first round when we got OL and WR to address. Just my two cents.

me too. I'd warm up to it. He's probably a better weapon than the first round WR's in all honesty. It would make me question the Ingram signing even more and wondering if that would mean the end of Kenneth Dixon.

Before Mark Ingram I'd be estatic with Jacobs.

I think he's a good player, but to have spent that money on Ingram would have made it feel like waste of money that could've been rolled over to next year

I feel like we might trade down with a team who wants to leap frog the Raiders at 24(if Jacobs is at 22 or if the Raiders don't trade up earlier for him) and grab Jacobs. I'm thinking maybe we trade down with the Eagles, and move down three spots to nab more picks. No other team has a need at RB besides Philly who is picking after us so it would have to be them.

I don't know about this, not after trading for Jordan Howard.

Did you tell her that Jacobs is a running back?

Better watch out. Ozzie might try and steal your girl.

The only other options for trading back would be a team coming up for a QB(Daniel Jones, Drew Lock?) but again the Pats would be our only option there unless it's the Raiders who feel Jones or Lock could be the guy long term. If the Chiefs want to get a corner or Safety ahead of the Raiders, maybe they are an option. I still think we trade down to try to recoup the second round pick we gave up for Lamar which was worth it. We are not going to have many trade options but as long as we don't trade with the Pats, I'm good. Ok cool we get to get their picks and they have less but as mentioned, BB can just grab someone in Nashville off the street and win the Super Bowl picks be damned!
