New details continue to emerge in regards to his new contract. Tom Brady is set to become a FA in 2020 as two years become automatically voided on the first day of the new league year. Also the Pats can not use the Franchise Tag on him or the Transition tag on him either.

Could Brady retire or is he going to finish his career elsewhere as his quest to play til he's 45 continues?

Representatives for Ezekiel Elliott have informed the Cowboys that he will not play in 2019 without a new contract.

Looks like another Le'Veon Bell situation is about to happen in Dallas.

A source with knowledge of the situation tells NBC's Chris Simms that Antonio Brown is dealing with frostbitten feet after "entering a cryotherapy machine without the proper footwear."

Well that's a new one. Brown had previously been described as dealing with "blisters." Speaking Tuesday, coach Jon Gruden would only say the team was "gathering information." It's a ridiculous injury but hardly a laughing matter. Brown's status for the remainder of camp should be considered up in the air.

I know ... his commentary on Super Bowl history and how winners didn't have top RBs. Well, what he fails to mention is what they did have ... QBs like Brady, Ben, Brees, The Mannings, etc. If he thinks he has that, he's delusional.

Different though given the fact that they have him under contract for 2 years and Bell didn't sign his franchise tag and therefore had no contract.

I think they eventually get a deal worked out (but I did say that for Bell too). Jerruh did backpedal on his initial comments by saying he has no doubt a deal will be worked out because it is in both sides best interests.

We'll be seeing more and more of this in the coming years. I think working out a new CBA is going to be tough and I fully expect some level of work stoppage (unfortunately).

Also Elliott is being given terrible advice. He is under contract through 2020, two more years. By sitting out the year, his contract rolls over meaning he would be under contract through 2021. If this was a true Bell situation with two years of the Tag, fine. His agent is screwing him over big time.

I see Michael Crabtree was offered a contract by Arizona for 2.5 mil plus 2 mil in incentives but according to the report I read it looks like Crabtree is not signing because he wants more. Personally I would reconsider that deal before they end up signing someone else and he is left sitting out home all season, but that is just me.

Well Duke Johnson got his wish yesterday. He was traded to the Texans and the Browns get a 4th round pick in the next draft (possibly a 3rd).
