Is that a serious question? Yang has no chance...less than no chance. (see "not whatever the latest ridiculous ideas the Dems are pushing for" comment in previous reply). Any voter who is remotely a centrist is going to view him as one of the extremists dragging that party down.

I have come to hate the term hate crime. I had a teenager from the housing projects on a bike overheard by witnesses tell a group of other teenagers, "I am going to kill me a faggy" (that was his direct quote! I hate that word as much as I hate the n word and I only typed it here so you understand my anger). This teenager peddles his bike from the group of teenagers and approaches a homosexual man and pulls a handgun and shoots this man in his neck and murders him on the spot. If this is not a hate crime...I swear! I was ordered to change my report and take out "hate crime." You know it was rewritten by detectives (who were pressured) because they could not get me to change it. If you are going to pick and choose what murders you want to list as a hate crime and whether it fits your agenda or whether you don't want the bad press, then we need to just forget about classifying incidents as "hate crime." Sorry, I had to get that off my chest. I will take this incident to my grave, it still upsets me so much.

So why is it that when ICE rounds up Immigrants, there is an outcry that it is not fair to the children that their parents were taken away from them. ICE made the biggest raid in US History in Mississippi with 600 immigrants and all people talk about is how they rounded up parents of children who were in school and that the kids had no one to pick them up. I hate it for the kids because they are completely innocent and don't have a grasp of what's going on and now all of a sudden they don't know why mommy and daddy didn't pick them up from school.

I wish these parents would stop putting their children in situations like this and just become a legal citizen. Saying this is a bad thing only continues down the path of picking and choosing which laws to enforce. You say parents shouldn't be separated from their kids therefore we should ignore people living and working in this country illegally. I just don't understand, why is it so hard to understand what the word ILLEGAL means?

Easier said than done sometimes. Some, not all, of these people flee their countries and just try to get here as fast as possible. Doing it legally can endanger their family (some of these folks come from areas that gangs run. They force children to join them and kill those who disagree with their methods.) if you are that desperate then this is why this happens.

America gives them a chance, even if they are here undocumented, to live peacefully and make some money thanks to greedy employers that would rather pay under the table.


I wish there was a better method of doing this but I can't think of any. I guess the question would be that besides being here undocumented, what else are they doing wrong in their communities? If they have shown positive signs of wanting to be part of our community, would it not be better to give them their documents?

I think of it a little differently, not that there is a right or wrong. I have seen varying degrees of evil and some had nothing to do with a specific kind of hate that is plainly identifiable. If you torture an innocent child, a young woman, an elderly person, or anyone - does it make it more evil if that person was a different race, religion, or sexual orientation? If you are a sick twisted individual and you hurt or kill because you are willing to do evil, you should be punished for it according. The prosecutor will bring a motive up to the jury in court if there is one and the sentence handed out by the judge and jury should be based on the level of evil.

When I think back over my career I take one big positive and one big negative.

Positive: I did a lifetime of living and it was definitely not boring. I have seen things that would blow many people's minds. Several people are alive today because I was there in time and willing to do some hard, risky, and not fun things and I have no complaints.

Negative: It certainly took a toll on me, mind and body. Losing good friends and squad mates is rough and there were too many.

Biggest regret: Not keeping a journal!

Most thankful for: Devine intervention. I am lucky to be alive, as there were too many close calls for me not to have been blessed.

I have no regrets, as I always wanted to be a police officer. I never even applied anywhere else as the city was my first choice. Money has never been that important to me and I feel I am blessed to be able to do what I love.

Now former Democrats including Bill Clinton have been named in documents that have been unsealed. Trump had ties to Epstein, so for his sake he better have not been involved in anyway other than just being friends. The democrat party can finally get their comes ups after bashing him for almost 4 years, but if Trump was involved than this could backfire on him.

Just a reminder. That girl that brought charges against Epstein was a masseuse at Mar-A-Lago and was the daughter of an employee there. This needs to be fully investigated by the FBI. Also contrary to the nonsense spouted on sites such as Brietbart, etc., Clinton had only traveled on Epstein's jet like Trump did. BTW let's not forget Clinton is no longer President but Trump is! Also there is no record of either Clinton or Trump for that matter traveling to 'pedophile island'. But, if I were a betting man, I wouldn't put it past either man to be screwing around with underage girls. If after a thorough it's found to be true, then the guilty need to be castrated publicly regardless of who it is.

Well this is a big part of the problem. Wealthy people know how to skirt the law with how they do their businesses. Instead of talking about taxing and taxing and taxing its not gonna be the rich that pays. Its all about closing loopholes then you would see more money go into the coffers for things like infrastructure and they would pay their "fair share".

Exactly, this reeks of a major coverup. Media will try to tie Trump to this but have nothing to say about the 27 trips Bill Clinton took to the Island. America deserves to know the truth before the 2020 election. I wouldn't be surprised if he is still alive and has been taken away somewhere that he can't be found.

I know they wheeled away the body and were very cautious that nobody could see nothing and they say they performed an autopsy. Lets say you're right this would be a major conspiracy that would blow away any Tom Clancy novel. So many people would have to be involved. So far I haven't heard what he used to "hang himself".

I tell you with the Seth Rich thing, the FISA search warrants and just basically everything that has been exposed about the underbellies of the govt since Trump was elected is alarming.
