Next Up: vs Browns

They just need to stop Earl with the blitzing, with 2 starting CBs down, he needs to be the safety net at all times.
It’s the pees treatment all over again. When we had weddle it made sense to blitz both safeties because weddle lacked range, but now were being very counter productive taking a HOF FS out of coverage constantly for the sake of the scheme.

Also, blitz averett instead of Carr, Carr is getting beat but not nearly as bad as averett, and averett would be a lot faster off the snap and probably a lot more effective

Also, where the hell is levine? I would imagine with our getting abused on zone plays Levine’s presence would be very welcomed with his range and incredible IQ in zone, he’s gotta be one of the most underrated zone defenders in all of football, I feel like I’ve seen next to nothing from him as far as snap count

I think this is really going to depend on how well he does this year and how much he asks for in addition to seeing if we can sign Yannick Ngakoue. I like Judon as a player but feel he isn't disciplined enough. That being said he's our best pass rusher and if he does end up with double digits, its going to be tough to let him go.
It would be amazing if we could get Ngakoue. I wanted him bad that year he came out of Maryland. I saw a lot of him because I went down there for school and to see the games. He’s legit and I can’t believe we passed on him and others from UMD. It’s inexplicable our allergy to that school.

I didn’t realize he was blitzing. Is this legit?

Levine is actually playing
Not well, obviously

I don’t recall much if any blitzing, but he is in the box and just out of his natural position too often

But can he set the edge to defend against the run?, can he sniff out screen passes and make a play?, and can he drop in coverage from time to time?. If not then being really good at getting after the passer is not purely what The Ravens need. Teams like The Chiefs would just nullify a guy like Ngakoue with screen passes and the run game if he proves unable to defend against them. Opposing offenses didnt test Terrell Suggs often with such things because he simply was pretty good at defending against it. Im not saying a Ngakoue wouldnt be helpful but The Ravens need a trusted edge rusher they can rely on to step into Pernell Mcphee place to keep him fresh .

  • MARK ANDREWSTE, BALTIMORE RAVENS

Mark Andrews (foot) is not practicing Wednesday.
He's followed this same routine the last two games. It'll be the same this week. Andrews will be out there as a TE1 against the Browns.

  • GREEDY WILLIAMSDB, CLEVELAND BROWNS

Browns CB Greedy Williams (hamstring) missed practice Wednesday.
Denzel Ward (hamstring) sat out of practice again, too. The Browns are obviously hoping both can return for Week 4's divisional tilt against Baltimore's daunting offense. Terrance Mitchell and T.J. Carrie would sub in if one or both can't go.

  • DENZEL WARDDB, CLEVELAND BROWNS

Browns CB Denzel Ward (hamstring) missed practice Wednesday.
As did Greedy Williams (hamstring). Without both available in Week 3, the Browns leaned on backup CBs Terrance Mitchell and T.J. Carrie. It's obviously less than ideal if the team has to depend on both again versus the Ravens' explosive downfield attack. Odds are Williams returns after being listed as a game-time call last week.

They mention in the comments that link to the streams whether they work on phones or not.

I recommend Buffstreams

It works on mobile, but just watch out for the pop-up ads. Also, if the stream ever starts buffering then just refresh the page and it will usually start working properly again (unless the stream is actually down which happened at one point in the 4th quarter against the Chiefs, but it came back up after 5-10 mins).

Damn!! Am I really seeing the words "Ravens explosive downfield attack" . Cool.

My biggest concerns for this weekend's games is

1) Keeping Garrett away from Lamar ... Lamar needs to be on the lookout for a late hit. Garrett seems like he's beginning to relish his role as a cheap shot artist. We need to see our young QB continue to develop and he won't be able to do that if Garrett wrecks him.
2) The defense as a whole. Our D is built to stop the run and force teams to be 1 dimensional. We certainly didn't do that with the Chiefs. That's first order of business. Cleveland seems to have a tendency to abandon the run quickly and we can't let them establish their run game. Then, we have to stop the big plays in the deep middle of the field.
