I admit some of the calls were right to be called but Blake Cleteman doing what he did to the Lions against the Packers.

that was a nasty dirty hit

what i will say is this - the decision to eject seemed to come from new york (according to rapsheet) - and while its the right decision im pretty sure that's not how the review rules etc. work given it wasnt a challenged play, we werent within 2 minutes and its not currently reviewable play - sets an odd precedent - this is why all plays should be reviewable because the refs didnt seem like they were going to eject him at first but this is an odd way for them to come in

right decision but makes it even odder that they cant quickly and efficiently change ref's decisions on PI - because as we just saw its not undermining the referees it's aiding them in making a correct decision that has meant the right thing happened

seriously, they have missed 2 FG's (one short) and basically gave the Steelers a TD on a penalties drive. Not only that, the Steelers now have really good field position. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.

this game is one of the worst adverts for the nfl in a long time - awful qb play, poor play in general, fairly terrible playcalling and coaching, injuries everywhere, penalties, dirty hits, missed kicks, mistakes, very few points

and maybe the most damning indictment of all - the worst referee crew in the nfl has been one of the better parts of the game
