Inferior team based on what? At least after Mariota was replaced. We didnt play in the regular season so no head to head basis. The only team from your division we played was the Browns, who we blew out (with Marcus) you split with. We both played the Pats (us in the post season, you in regular) and both won. We both played KC, we won, you lost. YOu beat Houston we split with them. We lost to Buffalo you beat them. So, based on the head to head opponents, it was even. You look at record, then yes, you were better in the regular season. Break down common opponents, and we were both 4-2 against common opponents. If you put this head to head in the common opponents things, the Titans were 5-2, you guys 4-3. The inferior team narative was never realistic. THis was always a game IMO that could have gone either way, but tonight went the Titans way.
Henry ran for 195 yards, in what world is that not dominating? And yeah, we have been one dimensional against arguably the best 2 defenses in the league and our RB has rushed for more yards in consecutive games than any back in NFL history, I am good with that. I am trying to think of a team who won the superbowl with a one dimensional offense, the names of Trent Dilfer and Jamal Lewis sound familiar but cant quite place it. Help me out? (and no, I am not saying these are the same teams, our QB is better than Dilfer, your defense was better, and, not guaranteeing any victories, might get beat next week, but does sort of have the same feel)
