Do you understand what it costs to get good players on the market? You have a few options, overspend, trade for guys on rookie deals, or make moves for old players who are still good but won’t cost as much due to age e.g. earl thomas/Cory Redding/Campbell.

what the hell do you suggest we actually do? This is the salary cap, this is football, you literally don’t have a choice lol.

I see why the Ravens were never in play, but man, a line of Campbell, Buckner, Williams would have been nasty.

We are better than last year.... massive upgrade at DT, the young WRs will have a year of exp and the year will start with Clark instead of Jefferson. Depth aside there is not a single position where the Ravens will be worse and that is BEFORE the draft with the sole exception of needing to draft someone to replace Yanda which if your team is only worse in one spot out of 22 then I would say you are doing pretty well

Redding and Pryce were several years younger than campbell is when they signed for us

If campbell was 3 years younger or so I'd feel MUCH better about this.

If Campbell were 3 yrs younger we'd not be getting him for a 5th rounder either.

You mean 2015 the year when every single player got injured, but at full strength they took the team that WON THE SB down to the wire (and I think that game was on the road to and they would have won that one to if Suggs did not go down that year) .....

What position is the team worse at? Rookies get better. I am not as high on Brown as most here and even I assume he will be better than last year. They basically traded Pierce for CC which is a massive upgrade so where is the team worse outside of having to replace 1 player? Its not like the roster is exactly filled with older players. This is a fairly young roster largely entering their primes.

Though you are right if all the best players and their backups get injured and are out for the year like 2015 then the team will lose, but, and this is important, that is also true for EVERY OTHER TEAM IN THE NFL.
