Thought I'd put this here, since at one point he did play for the Ravens. Mr. Butterfingers himself

The Tacoma News Tribune believes TE Ed Dickson is a candidate for release.
Dickson is owed a non-guaranteed $3 million salary coming off a lost 2019. With the Seahawks signing Greg Olsen and bringing back Jacob Hollister and Luke Willson, it's surprising Dickson hasn't already been cut. Seattle can also save an additional $10 million from releasing Tedric Thompson ($2.1M) and Justin Britt ($8.75M).

Florio seems to believe the Seahawks and Clowney are working toward a new deal.

His market was really cold. Medicals must have been really bad.

medicals wont have been bad because teams wont have been able to do medicals - but the fact that they cant do medicals might have contributed...

i think maybe more is just the fact that disruption is great but ultimately finishing is what gets you paid

yes, but I believe they can get his electronic medical records (EMR). He just can't do a physical.

According to Zrebeic, the Ravens have renewed interest in retaining Peanut. Makes a lot of sense with that new veteran cap savings move. Seems like his market will require him to take a 1-year deal, and we could again knock off $1.25M from his cap number like the potential for Jimmy.

Pierre desir has been cut. I’d let jimmy walk for desir, should make the same money, would be basically starting level for us and able to rotate, wouldn’t skip a beat if an injury occurred.

I'm told doctors are studying him as a possible cure to Corona virus given his inability to catch anything

I did a little more digging and that source was quoting a guy named Jake Heaps who works for 710ESPN Seattle.
Couple things here:

1. The Tacoma Tribune reported earlier today that the Seahawks offer was around $18.5M per year, which makes a lot more sense and is much more plausible than the $13M this guy reported.
2. I'm certainly not using Reddit as a source of reporting information. This guy may be who he is, but if he was actually reporting something, and works for a legit radio station or local news outlet, he would report this information through an official twitter account, news social media outlet, etc. He's not posting this stuff under some alias on Reddit.

Reddit is pretty much purely a source for speculation.

Most reports have Clowney seeking $20M, and the Seahawks offer at $18.5M is much more reasonable.

Clowneys 3 sacks from last season really impacted his market, I thought for sure that he would make Frank Clark/Demarcus Lawrence money.

That said Jordan Jenkins is the only edge rusher left worth signing, good edge setter, decent pass rusher and the market has really cooled off.

Think its the durability concerns that really have teams hesitant. He's a tough player to be committing upwards of $50M guaranteed to.

Also there's the theory that most of your "top tier" pass rushers in this offseason got franchise tagged, and they're making between $16-18M in most cases. Teams are hesitant to commit to Clowney for more than that, given that's sort of the "market" right now for FA rushers.

So this is a ravens philosophical question. I've been seeing a lot of mick drafts recently that have us either taking Swift or Taylor round 1 at 28. Now I've usually been frustrated with those mocks because I thought they were unreasonable. But that got me thinking. Is there really something to that? In the titans game, we didn't have Ingram and clearly were afraid to really run Gus full time. If we took a RB high that could potentially help us not have a drop-off if Mark or Gus gets hurt while also upgrading RB3 of everyone is healthy. Now I'm not saying EDC has any predisposed plan that he's definitely taki8a RB or WR or ILB, but if the board falls with a lot of the top WR and ILB off the board, would taking a RB be the craziest idea for this team right here right now? On second thought, I don't think so.

Edit: So the reason I post this here is because if what Roman did in the titans game was an abberation and he does trust Gus, then I see no chance. However, if he really doesn't trust Gus, and we've done nothing in FA to do anything about that, RB seems like an ok pick to me. I think it would be very unacceptable to go into next season thinking we only trust Mark Ingram.
