Yeah I think its too early to give up on him or think he's going to be far worse. Plus I'm always of the mindset that the medical/training staffs and the players/coaches have a lot more knowledge about how well these guys can play with injuries or recovering from injuries than we do.

Will give it a few games to see how he's doing.

I think the only reason you might see people clamouring to give him time to get back is that we have a very capable backup at that spot

I agree though that the best way for him to improve is to keep playing and get that trust back in his body

but we see it all the time after big injuries that players are a bit slower to get back their performance levels

Just saw the running back snap counts. Dobbins actually had more than Ingram. 40% compared to 36%. I wonder whether or not it was just playing the hot hand or if that was always the intention. Really excited for next week.

I think part of it was because the game was out of reach late so we gave young guys more snaps to get experience

After watching the texans last game we should be able to run the ball well on them and hit Hollywood over the top a couple times.

I worry about David Johnson on outside zone runs. We still tend to struggle with those.

However their RT got bullied all game in pass protection. Would be nice to see Bowser/Mcphee/Ferguson get some pressure off that side.

bowser's speed and judon's bend around the edge should be able to dominate tytus howard - that being said we've had a tendency in recent years to make bad OL look good

The reason I brought it up is because before his injury last year he was playing at a higher level than yesterday. I was potentially attributing that to maybe not being completely healthy. If he is healthy than hopefully it's just some rust to knock off.
He did have All-Pro & possible future HoFer Yanda next to him.

I fully expect the Ravens to throw the Texans D off balance by getting back to the run with Lamar leading the way. They're going to kill teams depending on how they choose to defend the Ravens. Truly a pick your poison kind of team. But, I am hoping Stanley is at full health and Tyre improves as does Skura's strength with his knee... We'll be fine if we can bottle up Watson and pressure him.
