All of Australia is playing the Chiefs game so from a land size perspective it's worse
I mean Chiefs are probably still a slightly sexier pick so I get it. I also get that the NFL probably wants any excuse it can to make people actually watch the Chargers play.

I kind of like it - at least I find it funny. They're essentially admitting there's no logical argument to be made for their choice. No reasonable analysis, just "any given Sunday" type of thinking. Making dumb statements just to rile up their audience. Clearly, they'd rather be wrong than boring.
