Honestly, I would be ecstatic if he's anything like Courtney. Upshaw wasn't the greatest, but he was decent against the run and he had one of the hardest hits on Big Ben I've ever seen (pretty sure he got roughing on the play, but fuck it lol).

In any case, Jaylon had maybe his best game against the Bengals so hopefully he can build on that.

not playing the way we are currently playing, but the defense is definitely much better than last season so there is that.

I don't understand their lack of using Dobbins anyway. He shows the most talent and has a good set of hands. Maybe fresh legs for later in the season? Other than that then wtf.

I have no interest in Bell. Especially because of what Dobbins and Gus are showing.

1. I'm not sure he's that unhappy now, considering they fired O'Brien.
2. I don't think we can afford the ~$10M we would owe him for the rest of 2020, and I certainly know we can't afford to pay him the $17.5M he's due next year.

He is not a realistic option at this moment. I am not sure why they tied him to us in the rumor mill. What was sad was that we had a real opportunity to nab Clowney. My only question mark with him would be if he could be a sack guy if we scheme him for that.

Cincy made some interesting adjustments, they were committed to stopping the run and not letting Lamar let loose. The only thing that made no sense to me was the commitment on to run on some obvious downs. It just seems like we have become predictable and even still we are successful. For now.
