Ravens Ring of Honor
the PI was bullshit though - not much you can do about that
That's my point lol. I am not really worried about the defense. Those bs calls are the reason they scored more than they should of

1. Many, many, many humans never learn a thing from the error of their ways. That's why prison's have so many repeat offenders. That's why mortuaries have many dead bodies of people who had been making the same mistakes for years.I was looking for a way to state this. Earl was like Stanley From the office, grumpy old fuck who checked out and was done working and didn’t vibe with the younger guys around him. AB would at the very least be part of the culture, long term yeah he would probably end up a problem, but in the short term I just don’t see how he could be winning, playing with his cousin, playing in a great locker room with a great culture, compete for a super bowl, and in only 2 months after taking a year and a half off of football he would throw it all away because he was open and not targeted.
humans learn from the error of their ways, plain and simple. If I never learned from my mistakes holy shit I’d be a worthless alcoholic with a 300 credit score.
I have minor concerns specifically from the Eagles game. That's my point lol. I am not really worried about the defense. Those bs calls are the reason they scored more than they should of

Wow, that was a really big fuck up by Boykin then.
pretty damning - miles is going to have to do a lot to earn back lamar's trust i think
and if it wasnt clear, it certainly seems clear that these are mostly on miles and not lamar (or at least that seems to be the insinuation)
You chose the perfect game to mention this afterwards. 2012 was the last time we played in Philly against Vick's Eagles. We led at halftime with a score of 17-7. We lost the game 23-24 when our offense fell to shit in the 2nd half. One thing I keep going back to is 2012, I just can’t help it. We were tooting the super bowl horn all the way up until late November when the losing streak started, and at no point did that team look as good or have anywhere near the potential that this team has.
we are truly spoiled. It looks ugly at times and Lamar and Roman are really shitting the bed, but compare this team shitting the bed to Flacco and Cameron shitting the bed, my god.. the difference is that Lamar Jackson’s ravens can absolutely shit the bed against a quality opponent and still win, Joe Flacco’s ravens could Be somewhat inconsistent against a bottom dweller and fucking lose.
After seeing Campbell and McPhee, I can honestly say that the DL will get much better as the season progresses. I think we will have a solid pass rush, nothing special but it will do enough to get the job done. I think we will definitely have a good defense this season, one good enough to win the SB. It's the offense that clearly needs all the help it can get. I think a WR2 would do so much for us but it doesn't sound like we'll make a move there given the cap situation.watching anquan boldin highlights from the 2012 season is insane when you look at just how dominant he was - a boldin (or boldin-like) player on this team right now would be incredible
that superbowl offence was blessed with weapons that all had complementary skillsets - Boldin, Torrey Smith, Dennis Pitta, Ray Rice
and then those 4 guys were backed up by Jacoby Jones in a part-time role and Bernard Pierce who was great that season as a change of pace back (never did anything after that year though lol)
and then i look at this year's weapons and I see Andrews being awesome and Hollywood's clearly our number 1 WR but no one else that's chipping in and making plays that threaten a defence
right now despite our incredible athleticism on offence we're not stressing defences at all - its so comfortable for them to defend us

Its much easier turning your life around in AB situation than someone coming out of prison lol. Its def much easier staying alive when youre in AB situation also. I get what you mean but the two arent really even close.1. Many, many, many humans never learn a thing from the error of their ways. That's why prison's have so many repeat offenders. That's why mortuaries have many dead bodies of people who had been making the same mistakes for years.
2. He can learn from his mistakes. I'm fine with that. Doesn't mean everybody should give him another opportunity, nor does it mean the Ravens should be the one's to do it. I don't buy into any of the "well he's playing with his cousin" BS. That has literally no relevance to me whatsoever. If you need playing with your cousin as a motivator to straighten yourself out and get back in the league, you've proven all character concerns are valid.
Guy had basically a 10 year NFL career and made almost $76M just from what he did on the field, let alone endorsements, etc. There's about a thousand ways he can "learn from his mistakes" and become a productive citizen that don't involve ever playing in the NFL again. See Ray Rice.
i think so too but by then, we may start having DB troubleAfter seeing Campbell and McPhee, I can honestly say that the DL will get much better as the season progresses. I dnt think AB would last here.. wants too much attention. Maybe we could sign then bench him till offs lol? Probably cant even do thatI just don't see it happening with AB. He's a great player, but he has no control of his mouth, it seems. Maybe he's learned, I just don't trust that. Plus, under Harbaugh, that is not a player characteristic the team seeks in signing contracts. Sure, you could say, "What about Earl?" ...and I'd respond that he didn't even make it half way thru his contract before the team grew tired of the show. Don't think they go down that road again with another potentially loose cannon.

Without him starting some shit
How sad that history almost repeated itself: getting screwed over by a bullshit PI flag. Only difference, other from the QB, is the fact that we were wearing our purples in 2012.Hmm, I think you have a typo in your post. I think it should read "when the officials threw a bullshit flag for OPI and wiped the go-ahead TD off the board."
I agree.. olineman would help more than a wr wouldBut to me it's even more than the bad fit... I'm not in because I think they should be looking for an O-lineman. Off the scrap heap or in a trade, that's a more pressing need. Fix the line, fix our problems on OFF. Whether that comes from coaching or acquiring a player to sure up the line, do it. The O-line is struggling and it's making the OFF struggle as a whole as a result.
Except that year we had the blessing of phillys home opener. 5th straight team to play philly in their home opener and win the super bowlYou chose the perfect game to mention this afterwards. 2012 was the last time we played in Philly against Vick's Eagles.
