Next Up: @ Titans (Wildcard Round)

Titans not beating us!! Do you all think we need jimmy smith for titans game? I mean ofcourse we do but could we risk sitting him this game if it means he will be more healthier the following week?

we absolutely should play him, but we don't NEED him, but we are better with him. That being said our best should be on the field.

Playaction only work cause of henry though.. you have to worry about him regardless.
But that's the point. There's plenty of avenues where we lose while keeping Henry in check. Stopping him from running all over us is just one aspect of winning this game.

I guess Humphrey will have AJ Brown. That guy is unbelievable.
Well I don't think he usually shadows guys, and with Jimmy and Averett both likely to be up, Marlon is probably going to be in the slot a lot like usual. So it just depends on how the Titans line up.

Based on what Harbaugh said in post-game presser, he basically said he anticipated Jimmy and Yannick to be back for Sunday.

He didn't mention Mekari or Snead though, which I think are a little bigger losses than people realize.

I think they somewhat held Jimmy out of the Cincy game as a precaution. I believe he was practicing Thursday and definitely Friday.

I just hope there are no more Covid cases on our team or anyone else's. Seems unlikely to me that we'll go the whole playoffs without any though. It's been a good fun season for the NFL and I'm hopping that we can have a fun playoffs too. Like I would just hate for a team to beat the Chiefs because Mahomes got Covid. If that was us, I'd obviously take it, but it would be such an asterisk win.

We are better than the Titans but they seem to psyche us out . That’s what I’m worried about . This is a very young team and we need to stay on point mentally. If we do that we will win .

Last year I went into this game arrogant as hell. Have a much different feeling this time around. If this team has any kind of pride, we come out of this with a dub.

Now... I can't speak on what happens after that.

exactly - we should have definitely beaten them earlier this year
and tbh we probably should have beaten them in the playoff game too - we turned the ball over 3 times and coughed it up twice on 4th and short too... we put 500 yds on them but only scored 12 points

they are currently the bogeyman for us and i wont feel confident about beating them until after we've beaten them

I wanted this game for than PIT.

While I think we match up better with PIT, and I'd be more confident we'd beat PIT, I don't think I could stomach losing to them 3 times in a year again. Especially the case with how poorly they've played recently.

Tennessee has easily the weakest defense in the AFC in my opinion, and I expect us to get some payback here. Certainly wouldn't mind playing PIT next round either, but that seems unlikely.

I completely agree. I was really hoping the Patriots would win the wildcard game last year, as I thought they (the Titans) would be a problem.

In the playoffs last year, Ingram was injured and Gus was clearly not trusted. This year - yeah, a lot different.
The team added players to specifically address the problem presented by Henry. (Did we really draft Correa with Henry available? Ugh.)
This team has gone thru some real adversity this year. I think they know now they have to work hard for any success they'll have from here on. So yes, I also have a completely different feeling this time.
