Right. As I mentioned, IF Evans actually does something to help the team, it'll be in the form of like a contract restructure, not necessarily a paycut. He's got a $16.6M cap hit with a $12.25M salary, which isn't guaranteed. He could convert something like $9M of his salary into a bonus, get paid the same $12.25M this year that he was already due to make, and reduce his current year cap number by $6M.

To the public it looks like a "paycut" because his current year salary cap number is lower. But in reality, he just pushed some of it into future years, while making the same amount of money. That's typically what these high-end players do to "help the team".
I don't count restructures as a paycut as well, because for the most part it isn't and I know you know that. In a restructure they are just getting more guaranteed money up front and lowering the salary so the team can spread the dollars over a longer period of time.

Well speaking of hasta la vista, here's a ticket to the Pit of Misery. You will be sentenced until Saturday. Have a nice week. Dilly, dilly.

I love the car, if I would have got the 10 speed auto I would have probably kept it. I am looking to sell it and VROOM seems to really want it

Two years ago today way back in 2019... Le'Veon Bell chose the Jets over us and signed that mega contract. I remember being so disappointed that we "settled" for Mark Ingram but then we went on to create a dominant run game for two straight years without Bell.

Bell didn't choose the Jets over us. His only choice was the Jets. His agent was using the Ravens to try to increase the contract offer. It was reported that we were never interested.

I know this shouldn't mean anything, but find it interesting we have the 2nd best odds for where Allen Robinson will play week 1.

I don’t know if he’s got all pro in him, but I think if he stays healthy he’s got a few pro bowls in him, he’s got a lot of flashy potential

@InternationalFlockMembers When you got into football, how did you get into the Ravens specifically?

For me it was a no brainer; I moved to Baltimore for work in 2015. Always had a passing interest in football, but I made the most of the opportunity to see live games when I came to the States, and left as a fan of the Ravens, the O's and the Caps. Football is definitely the sport that hooked me the most, but baseball is a LOT better live than I was expecting!

Also, you Americans are really weird about your live sports - a definite culture shock.

Thats cool! So it was definitely about where you moved too. I'm also interested in those who are still currently overseas as well.

Yeah I was only there 2 years but it was a lot of fun. Brits pick up NFL teams for all kinds of reasons though. A friend of mine became a fan of the Browns because, in his words: "My football team is shit so my American football team might as well be shit as well." We do love an underdog lol.
