Guys like Arod and Tom Brady loves Lamar's game..
But you got media guys and trolls saying hes getting figured out. Tsk tsk.

Even better because Clark took years to earn a starting role.

Stephens also looks more smooth, more athletic. He may never develop the brains that Clark has, but he's smart in his own right for his limited experience at the position/on defense in general.

Stephens was a 3rd round pick, where Clark was a 6th rounder. Now if you want a comparison, Proche is last years Clark. Lets hope Proche and Stephens continue to be grow in their respective roles. Clark has been really good this year.

Did Boykin play an offense at all? Even after Watkins went down? Also how long do we think he's gonna be out? He is so important. I think Bateman could fill his role, but I'd rather not rush him. I think Bateman will go along way in making us literally unstoppable if we can have a healthy Brown, Watkins, Andrews, and Bateman.

nope all watkins snaps went to duvernay and proche

boykin played exclusively on special teams (i think he played all the gunner snaps but not sure - he had 15 snaps)

no timeline on watkins

bateman could play this week but if he does he's likely not going to get a full complement of snaps straight away

Ok all of that sounds good except no timeline for Sammy. I really want him back ASAP.

Hmm how do you read this? Is it less if Queens fault and others are messing up causing him more problems?
Sounds like he is worrying about too many different aspects of the defense all in one play like defending the pass, watching for play action, getting in his run lane, etc, which can be performed by other players on the D with him. I think Wink has simplified his role in the defense per play but he's still trying to do everything

i see it as he's hesitating too much worrying about the ball (i.e. worrying about whether other guys are in position to make the play) and not his assignment which is causing him to be late or hesitant to trigger

that's kind of how i looked at it - sort of like he's athletic enough to chase so he's hesitating so he can chase rather than running the play...

that's my read on it

interesting thread - likely a lot of option/choice routes and the receivers dont have amazing chemistry with each other yet

on the TD to win the game (which i dont think he's got to in his thread yet) - the other side of the formation either someone ran the wrong route or the spacing was awful lol
