The Battling, The Injuries and More Injuries

Are you sure you read it correctly? You think Ben WOULD get a standing ovation? I 100% promise you that wouldn't happen and there would certainly be people heckling him. 100%
He wouldn’t get booed out on a stretcher, no way.

Yeah he's a great backup. But we saw his two big issues on display... the long windup resulted in a fumble and when he doesn't use that long windup to generate the arm strength, we get the floaters. Great backup for us but you can see the issues and why he went undrafted the more he gets to play.
and even the use of a great backup may be a strong word. Definitely serviceable for us though.

lol. of course he would. Not by me or anyone I know but there is zero doubt in my mind, anyway, that some assholes would pull some shit. cmon, man.
There’s a big difference between a select few assholes, and a stadium booing someone off on a stretcher.

that is absolutely something the browns stadium would do, along with Philly, but I would be shocked to see it happen at the bank.

I never once said the whole stadium would boo. I said he wouldnt get a standing ovation and would likely get heckled. Did the whole stadium boo Lamar in Cleveland? I wasnt aware of that. I just made a statement after Rossi said that Lamar was heckled. Ben would get the same here was my only and stated point.

I'm know people are going to like this, but the offense wasn't doing shit until Huntley stepped in the game. Ultimately the fumbles did us in but there at least seemed to be a rhythm. Lamar taking some games off might hopefully reset him mentally.
Won’t happen unless it’s out of necessity, but it makes you wonder what he could do if given first team practice reps and some playing time. Small sample size but he’s shown to be a fairly accurate passer.

Too valuable to trade and unless we can get a day two pick and that won't happen. Much more valuable to us to back up Lamar over the next couple years.
You are probably right but if he plays well he will want to be a starter somewhere and our organization let’s players get their chance . It’s why the Ravens organization is so respected by players .

Yeah he’s shown he’s pretty nimble on his feet too. Not Lamar level but not bad.

He had first team reps before the Bears and it was.... uninspiring, still.

That’s true but it was his first NFL start. So I’d give him some credit for that. Also, I don’t think it was any more uninspiring then Lamar’s last 4 starts. That’s why I say it really doesn’t matter who the QB is this week. We have bigger problems then just the QB position. Our QB’s lead the league in sacks, and our QB’s lead our team in rushing. That’s not a very good recipe for success.

It was, in my opinion, dreadfully bland and poor. Even if Lamar isn't on his game, he is always aggressive and pushing the ball.

With Huntley, he's just so passive and timid and can't push the ball down the field.

This will be the best offense the Ravens have faced in weeks and Huntley is not going to be able to keep up with the Packers if they play as they have recently. Lamar can at least challenge a defense vertically.

for me i think it's more that when huntley does try to push the ball down the field he's got a massive windup - with lamar it's a flick of the wrist (and until the last 4-5 weeks it was a quick decision too)

Absolutely.

Huntley's average air yards and depth of target were down as compared to Lamar, so he isn't pushing it downfield, but when he does, he has to have that ugly Tebow windup and throw his whole body into it for it to go.... 30 yards. Then, we see Lamar and Herbert throwing 50+ with the flick of their wrist. Just a monumental difference.
