Ravens trade: Alejandro Villanueva

Bengals trade: 5th round pick

His cap hit is 9,250,000
Base salary is 4,000,000 (which Bengals take)
Dead money is 3,250,000

so what cap savings does the trading team (ravens) get?

AV's cap it is 9.25m - 3.25m = 6m savings.

Bengals would have a 4m cap hit (4 stars)

Worth noting in relation to this that sometimes roster bonus money disappears and would be unaccounted for on both the trading team and the acquiring team, but it's always made it easier to have it standard. So depending on the structure, you might luck out.
