Can't really put that all on Rodgers when GB's defense has let them down multiple times in the playoffs. He's definitely underperformed in the playoffs, as well, but it's still a team sport, after all.
Brady is just the GOAT so there's no surprise that he continues to rack up post-season wins in the NFC. I'm pretty sure he's either sold his soul to demons and/or is a fucking alien because there's no way he should still be this good at his age.

I think Rodgers criticism is mostly a combination of both. In his last 7 playoff losses, they've never scored more than 26 points, and they've been at 21 points or less in 5 of their last 7 postseason losses.
The other problem is that they seem to get throttled a lot too. In the 10 games they've lost in the playoffs with him out there, half those games they've lost by 14 points or more. HOF-level QBs getting beat in the postseason isn't new. Brady has lost a dozen times in the postseason, and he's considered "immortal". But they usually don't get throttled that often.
Do most teams even score 26 points in the playoffs?

The point was if 26 is the high point in 7 losses, there's a good chance the argument of "well it was the defense's fault" is going to fall flat with fans.
Most of those games were in the 20-22 point range. That's not going to be enough to win a SB and likely not enough to make a SB most years. If you're just scoring 21 points a game in the playoffs, you're going to get beat eventually, unless you have a 2000 Ravens D or something similar. That's not very realistic when paying a QB a ton or really that realistic at all in this era of the NFL.

They always tend to say certain players look like they're in great shape to get people hyped for the upcoming season. That being said, it's a contract year for Jaylon and he's barely shown anything on the field so if there was ever a time for him to start producing then it would be now. I still don't expect him to do much, but I'll be happily surprised if he does.

I mean this is likely true. However if he is slimmed down and in an MM defense is given a lot of pass rushing reps he might churn out 4 or 5 sacks.

Lol sir he never gets snaps. This year he might get them. Or we'll sign Houston and everyone won't die and hell continue to not get snaps. My point is simply volume in MM defense is very different than no volume in a Wink defense.

1. I highly doubt they go beyond a 1 year suspension, or at least, at this point.
2. If they were to somehow like ban him for life, it's basically a suspension, which means the Texans wouldn't have to pay his contract. I've not seen an NFL contract that involves a team agreeing to pay a suspended player.
They'd obviously not be getting back the draft picks they gave to get him, and there would be a lengthy arbitration over the nearly $45M signing bonus, but my guess is the Browns would get most of that back.
i just dont think he'll get volume in this defence either - at least not as a pass rusher - if he gets any snaps it's most likely going to be as a base EDGE on running downs to spell whoever needs a few snaps off... basically he's got a chance to earn some of McPhee's snaps from 2022 but I also think that a lot of those missing snaps will be taken up by Hayes and I fully expect Houston to return - remember that he didnt even get snaps last year with half the team on I/R
